MINI India has introduced a limited-edition electric vehicle - the 2024 MINI Cooper SE Charged Edition. This all-electric MINI 3-door hatchback is offered in India as a Completely Built-Up (CBU) unit, with only 20 units available exclusively on MINI India's website.

Pricing and Availability

The ex-showroom price of the MINI Cooper SE Charged Edition in India is INR 55,00,000. The first 20 customers can book this limited-edition EV online.

MINI India provides one-time installation of a MINI Smart Wallbox charger and a portable DC fast charging cable with the car. Customers can also opt for customized finance schemes and explore trade-in and corporate benefits.

Warranty and Service Support

The high voltage battery pack comes with an 8-year/1,00,000 km warranty. MINI India offers a standard 2-year unlimited kilometers warranty, which can be extended up to 5 years through Repair Inclusive plans. A 5-year 24x7 roadside assistance provides charging support and other emergency services.

The MINI Cooper SE can be serviced across 36 MINI service centers in India. BMW Group has set up fast chargers across its dealership network in 35 Indian cities.

Exterior and Interior

The MINI Cooper SE Charged Edition features a Chili Red exterior with a Multitone white roof. Exterior accents like the headlight rings, tail light rings, door handles and logos come in Aspen White.

The bonnet, sides and boot sport Frozen Red Sports Stripes with Energetic Yellow highlights. The front chrome air inlet adds to the premium styling. The EV rides on exclusive 17-inch MINI Electric Power Spoke alloy wheels in a two-tone finish.

The cabin features Leatherette Carbon Black upholstery and MINI Electric interior trim. The flat-bottom steering wheel integrates controls and is wrapped in Nappa leather. The 5-inch digital instrument cluster relays key driving information.

The center stage is taken by the 8.8-inch touchscreen display with navigation and Apple CarPlay. Ambient lighting in striking yellow highlights the interior styling.

Performance and Charging

The MINI Cooper SE Charged Edition is powered by an electric motor developing 184 hp and 270 Nm of torque. The 32.6 kWh battery pack delivers a range of up to 270 km on a single charge.

The electric MINI sprints from 0-100 km/h in 7.3 seconds. The car supports AC and DC fast charging:

• 50 kW DC fast charging - 80% charge in 36 minutes
• 11 kW AC charging - 80% charge in 2.5 hours
• 2.3 kW AC charging - 80% charge in 9 hours

Safety and Driver Assistance Features

The MINI Cooper SE comes equipped with six airbags, ABS, brake assist, dynamic stability control, cornering brake control, and other essential safety features.
