2026 Zeekr 9X

2026 Zeekr 9X
By Team Dailyrevs April 24, 2025
The 2026 Zeekr 9X is a luxury plug-in hybrid SUV with a design reminiscent of the Rolls-Royce Cullinan.
It boasts a 0–100 km/h acceleration time of approximately 3 seconds.
Priced around $138,000, it positions itself against high-end competitors like the Range Rover and BMW X7.
Zeekr Unveils the Massive 9X
Right, so here’s the deal — Zeekr just dropped the 9X, and it’s kind of a monster. This thing’s massive. Like, “park-it-next-to-a-Rangie-and-watch-it-shrug” massive. Boxy, chrome-heavy, and draped in luxury cues that are a little on-the-nose — you get the sense they’ve had photos of the Cullinan pinned up in the design studio for a while.
Flagship Proportions and Price Tag
At 5.2 meters long with a wheelbase just over 3.1 meters, this SUV isn’t pretending to be anything but a flagship. Flush handles, double-deck headlights, a rear light bar that stretches across like a neon billboard — the whole thing looks expensive. Probably because it is: early numbers float around $138,000. That’s X7/Mercedes GLS money, and Zeekr clearly wants in.
Plug-In Hybrid Powertrain and Bold Performance Claims
Under the skin, It’s a plug-in hybrid setup — 2.0-liter turbo ICE paired with dual electric motors. Zeekr’s not dishing out exact specs yet, but the 0–100 km/h claim is bold: three seconds flat. In a seven-seater. That’s absurd and kind of brilliant.
Luxurious Interior With Practical Touches
Inside, they’re keeping it close to the chest. But the usual suspects are expected: floating screens, suede and leather everywhere, and probably enough ambient lighting to land a plane. Rear doors open to 80+ degrees — big deal if you’ve got kids or clients to shuttle.
Cutting-Edge Tech with Semi-Autonomous Features
Tech-wise, they’re packing Nvidia’s Thor chip and a suite of five LiDAR sensors. Sounds fancy, sure, but what matters is it’ll do the usual semi-autonomous shuffle — lane keeping, traffic jam crawling, maybe even highway hands-off stuff.
Zeekr Aims for Premium EV/Hybrid Market
Zeekr’s clearly not playing small ball anymore. They want a seat at the premium EV/hybrid table, right between BMW and, dare I say, Bentley.
Will the Zeekr 9X Find Its Market?
Will buyers bite, tough to say. But if nothing else, the 9X makes noise — and in the SUV world, that counts for a lot.
