2026 Karma Amaris

By Team Dailyrevs

Karma Automotive has presented the Amaris, an electric 2-door coupe that is projected to go under production by the end of 2026 and will include a new and improved EREV powertrain as well as an exterior style modeled from the Karma Kaveya super-coupe. The Amaris also refines KArma's aluminum spaceframe superstructure that is designed to guarantee structural compacity while still keeping optimal weight distribution.

Karma has also announced significant changes to the AI Gyesera, which was previously known to be an luxurious type-s electric sedan, but will now undergo stylistic changes along with an EREV combustion engine configuration.
This transfer is a response to market behavior since MCIs in the premium and ultra-luxury categories begin to reconsider a fully electric future. Hence, the super-coupe Kaveya has been put on hold until 2027.

The Gyesera will replace the Revero in Karma's collection after emissions regulations are incorporated.
Both models, Amaris and Gyesera, still maintain the complex styling of the aluminum spaceframe chassis, continuing the style of engineering from the Revero.

The President of Karma Automotive, Marques McCammon, highlighted the gasoline and electric charging synergy that makes extended range electric vehicles remarkably efficient.
“Gasoline refueling combined with electric charging enables the best of both worlds as high-performance EV torque meets long-distance cruising,” said McCammon.

  • 2026 Karma Automotive Amaris is a 2-door extended-range electric coupe, featuring an upgraded EREV powertrain and an aluminum spaceframe chassis for improved performance and weight distribution.

  • Production is expected to begin in Q4 2026, with the Amaris coupe following the design philosophy of the Karma Kaveya super-coupe.

  • Karma Automotive has shifted its strategy for the Gyesera luxury sedan, which will now launch as an extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) instead of a fully electric model.

  • The Karma Kaveya super-coupe, initially planned for release earlier, has been rescheduled for 2027 due to adjustments in the luxury EV market.

  • The Amaris coupe features a carbon fiber and aluminum body, integrated with the Comet Line design language, ensuring a balance of aerodynamics and structural rigidity.

  • The clamshell hood, featuring Karma’s Target Lighting signature, transitions smoothly into the wide rear track, contributing to its aggressive stance.

  • Key exterior elements include 22-inch forged aluminum Constellation wheels, a backslash design element near the swan doors, and an aero pass-through rear spoiler for enhanced stability at high speeds.

  • The Amaris EREV powertrain consists of a larger turbocharged 4-cylinder ICE generator, delivering an estimated 0-60 mph acceleration in under 3.5 seconds and a top speed of approximately 165 mph.

  • Karma Automotive prioritizes extended-range electric vehicle technology, allowing for both gasoline refueling and electric charging to ensure flexibility for long-distance travel.

Cuts and Styling Of The 2026 Karma Amaris – Design And Styling The Amaris nameplate keeps the Comet Line design language established by the Karma Kaveya with a carbon fiber and aluminum body structure that improves aerodynamic efficiency and structural strength.

To emphasize the aggressive stance of the Amaris, the sculpted clamshell hood with integrated Karma's Target Lighting signature widens at the rear and merges with the wide back track.

2026 Karma Amaris – Powertrain And Performance The 2026 Offer Amaris model is expected to have a widened driving range as well as acceleration thanks to the upgraded EREV system. The performance estimates are as follows: 0-60 mph in sub 3.5 seconds Top speed of about 165 mph Pricing particulars for Amaris are still pending.
