The 2025 model, starting at an MSRP of $21,995, introduces updated exterior and interior designs and new technology features.

Exterior Updates

The 2025 Jetta boasts modernized front and rear treatments, new wheel choices, and fresh color options. The revised front fascia includes new upper and lower grille designs, new LED headlights, and an available light bar starting on Sport models. A new trunk lid with a standard light bar connects the taillights, adding elegance to the rear. Wheel options include new 17-inch aluminum alloys for SE models and 18-inch alloys for SEL and GLI, along with optional black-wheel packages for SE and GLI. New exterior colors, Monterey Blue Pearl and Monument Gray, enhance the upscale appearance.

Interior Enhancements

Inside, the Jetta features a redesigned dashboard with new colors and decor across the range. A three-bar design flows through the air vents, leading to the new floating touchscreen infotainment system with an 8-inch display standard on all models. The 2025 Jetta retains its 1.5-liter, 158-hp turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine, paired with a standard eight-speed automatic transmission, offering sporty performance and excellent highway fuel economy. The Jetta GLI is powered by a 2.0-liter EA888 engine delivering 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, available with either a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission or a six-speed manual gearbox. The sport-tuned Jetta GLI, known as the "GTI with a trunk," features larger brakes, a VAQ electronically-controlled torque-sensing limited-slip differential, XDS® electronic differential lock, the DCC® adaptive damping system, and a unique sport exhaust system.

Advanced Driver Assistance

The IQ.DRIVE system is standard on all 2025 Jetta and Jetta GLI models, utilizing front and rear radar, a front camera, and several ultrasound sensors to provide semi-automated driving assistance through features such as Travel Assist, Front Assist, Active Blind Spot Monitor, Rear Traffic Alert, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Assist, and Emergency Assist.
