Volkswagen has long provided affordable mobility through compact, practical vehicles, and with the debut of the 2025 Volkswagen ID.Every1 Concept, the brand is introducing an entry-level all-electric model. Set to enter production in 2027 with an estimated starting price of around €20,000, the ID.Every1 joins Volkswagen’s growing lineup of electric vehicles. Preceding it in 2026 will be the Volkswagen ID.2all, priced around €25,000. Both models belong to the Electric Urban Car Family, a new range of front-wheel-drive EVs developed within the Volkswagen Group’s Core brand division. Built on the new modular electric drive (MEB) platform, this architecture is specifically designed for compact electric vehicles.

The vehicle’s exterior reflects Volkswagen’s commitment to maintaining a strong visual identity across its new-generation electric models.

Built on the latest MEB platform with front-wheel drive, the ID.Every1 Concept follows the Volkswagen ID.2all and the ID.GTI Concept within the Electric Urban Car Family. The compact EV features a newly developed 70 kW (95 PS) electric motor, enabling a top speed of 130 km/h and a projected range of at least 250 kilometers. Measuring 3,880 mm in length, it fits between the Volkswagen up! (3,600 mm), the ID.2all (4,050 mm), and the Polo (4,074 mm). Inside, the layout accommodates four passengers with a 305-liter cargo capacity, optimizing space for urban commuting.

Volkswagen’s long-term roadmap, outlined in the Future Volkswagen agreement, integrates economic stability, employment security, and leadership in sustainable mobility. The company follows a three-phase strategy to strengthen its market position:

• Catch-up phase (2024-2025): Improving competitiveness and expanding the model lineup, with further previews of the Electric Urban Car Family expected in 2025.
• Attack phase (2026-2027): Introducing nine new models, including the Volkswagen ID.2all priced under €25,000 and the ID.Every1 starting at approximately €20,000.
• Leadership phase (2030 goal): Establishing Volkswagen as the leading high-volume EV manufacturer, focusing on safety, innovation, and best-selling electric vehicles.
