The 2025 Volkswagen ID.4 GTX Edition stands out as the first MEB-based model to feature dual-motor all-wheel drive, combining robust performance with innovative design elements. Enhanced Performance and Driving Dynamics

The ID.4 GTX is powered by two electric motors—one on each axle—delivering a combined output of 220 kW (299 hp). This dual-motor configuration introduces all-wheel drive to the ID family, enhancing both traction and handling. With a top speed electronically capped at 180 km/h, the vehicle achieves 0 to 60 km/h in 3.2 seconds and 0 to 100 km/h in 6.2 seconds. The intelligent drivetrain enables the vehicle to tackle inclines of up to 37.5%, showcasing its capability in diverse driving conditions.

Inside, the dashboard and leatherette door inserts in X-Blue symbolize sustainability, while red stitching accents the sporty aesthetic. The GTX logo is integrated into various interior elements, such as the steering wheel, sill panels, and seat backrests.


A Strategic Step Toward Sustainable Mobility

As part of Volkswagen’s ACCELERATE strategy, the GTX brand underscores the company's dedication to sustainability and electric mobility. By 2030, Volkswagen aims for 70% of its European sales to be fully electric. The company is also investing €16 billion by 2025 in electrification, hybridization, and digital transformation to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.


Pricing and Availability

The Volkswagen ID.4 GTX launched in Europe during the summer of 2021, with a starting price of €50,415 in Germany. Buyers can also apply for a €7,500 net grant, making the vehicle more accessible.
