The Sequoia is available in 2WD or part-time 4WD, with the latter standard on 1794, Platinum, TRD Pro, and Capstone grades.

The Sequoia's body-on-frame chassis shares its architecture with the Toyota Tundra, offering excellent handling, comfort, and capability. The SUV provides versatile seating and cargo configurations, including a sliding third row with a 6-inch adjustment range and an adjustable cargo shelf system.
