This hybrid system features a motor generator within the bell housing between the engine and 10-speed automatic transmission, ensuring both high performance and efficiency. The Sequoia is available in 2WD or part-time 4WD, with the latter standard on 1794, Platinum, TRD Pro, and Capstone grades.
Advanced Chassis and Towing Capabilities
The Sequoia's body-on-frame chassis shares its architecture with the Toyota Tundra, offering excellent handling, comfort, and capability. The SUV provides versatile seating and cargo configurations, including a sliding third row with a 6-inch adjustment range and an adjustable cargo shelf system. The 2025 Sequoia boasts a 9,520-pound maximum towing capacity, supported by advanced towing technology such as the Tow Tech Package, Trailer Backup Guide, and Straight Path Assist. Developed by Toyota's Texas-based Connected Technologies team, this system offers enhanced user experience through sight, touch, and voice activation. It includes wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ compatibility, cloud-based navigation with real-time updates, and voice-activated controls via the Intelligent Assistant.
Active Safety System: Toyota Safety Sense 2.5
