This special edition is based on the Phantom Extended, renowned for its customization possibilities. The Phantom Scintilla pays tribute to the Spirit of Ecstasy, celebrating her ethereal beauty and legacy through a meticulously designed collection limited to just ten units globally.

A NEW CHAPTER TO AN OLD STORY

In 1910, Claude Johnson, Rolls-Royce’s Managing Director, commissioned Charles Sykes to design a mascot inspired by the Winged Victory of Samothrace. Although initially, Sykes sought a more delicate figure to reflect the brand's grace, he drew inspiration from Eleanor Thornton, who embodied the elegance Johnson envisioned. The Phantom Scintilla honors this vision with modern materials and subtle nods to the Greek statue.

MATERIAL MAGIC

The Spirit of Ecstasy figurine in the Phantom Scintilla features a ceramic finish reminiscent of Parian marble, known for its pure, radiant qualities. This finish harmonizes with the iconic femininity and ethereal presence of the Rolls-Royce mascot, blending historical inspiration with contemporary craftsmanship.

EXTERIOR: GREEK INSPIRATION

The Phantom Scintilla’s exterior boasts a two-tone Bespoke finish, with the upper body in Andalusian White and the lower in Thracian Blue, reflecting the hues of the sea near Samothrace. A subtle metallic flake captures the sparkle of sunlight, complemented by Spirit Blue Coachline and Wheel Pinstripes for a sophisticated appearance.

INTERIOR: EXPRESSIVE MOVEMENT

The interior of the Phantom Scintilla features design elements inspired by the Spirit of Ecstasy’s dynamic form. The cabin includes a continuous graphic motif created with 869,500 stitches, taking over 40 hours to complete. The most intricate door design ever seen on a Rolls-Royce uses 633,000 stitches in various threads, illuminated to create a luminescent effect. The seats are upholstered in a reflective twill fabric, adding depth to the interior's design.

‘CELESTIAL PULSE’ GALLERY ARTWORK

The central piece of the Phantom Scintilla is the ‘Celestial Pulse’ artwork, spanning the full width of the front fascia. This bespoke creation features seven ribbons milled from solid aluminum, finished with the same ceramic texture as the Spirit of Ecstasy figurine, reflecting light to enhance the sense of movement.

‘FLEETING MOMENT’ STARLIGHT HEADLINER

The Bespoke Starlight Headliner of the Phantom Scintilla showcases an animation inspired by the Spirit of Ecstasy’s gown. It features 1,500 fiber-optic stars arranged in a unique pattern and 4,450 larger perforations that reveal a metallic silver fabric, creating a dynamic interplay of light.

GRACEFUL DETAILS

The rear picnic tables of the Phantom Scintilla continue the theme of fluid motion with a graphic inspired by the Spirit of Ecstasy. The wood trim, in Arctic White with iridescent lacquer, undergoes a meticulous process of up to 19 coats, taking over 190 hours to complete. Each vehicle features engraved treadplates and is supplied with a Bespoke car cover.
