Exterior Design
The new Captur boasts a more athletic appearance with premium styling elements. The Nouvel'R one-piece logo is integrated into the multi-faceted grille, complemented by a higher, more horizontal bonnet. The grille design creates dynamic light reflections that flow towards the headlights and bumper. Standard across all trim levels, the front lights feature full LED technology, with vertical half-diamond shaped LED daytime running lights inspired by the brand logo. The transparent rear light housing and redesigned diffuser enhance the vehicle's contemporary appeal and perceived quality.
Three distinct trims are available: Evolution, Techno, and the new Esprit Alpine. The Evolution trim comes with 17-inch alloy wheels and a matt black finish on the lower body. Techno offers 18-inch alloy wheels with a High Gloss Black finish, while the Esprit Alpine trim features 19-inch wheels, Ice Black logos, and an aerodynamic splitter.
Interior Design
The 2025 Captur introduces the OpenR Link multimedia system with Google built-in, available on Techno and Esprit Alpine trims. This system is accessible via a new 10.4-inch vertical touchscreen, offering an intuitive, smartphone-like interface that supports Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® with wireless connectivity. The cabin includes modern, high-quality materials and offers various features like wireless phone charging, USB-C sockets, and a customizable digital dashboard.
Interior space remains a strong point, with 221 mm of rear passenger knee room, thanks to the sliding rear bench seat. The Captur offers a total of 24.7 litres of storage space, including a 7-litre glovebox. The boot, with a capacity of up to 616 litres, is modular, featuring a sliding rear bench and a removable floor for added versatility.
Powertrain
The new Captur is equipped with two powertrain options, both designed for efficiency across various driving environments. The 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbocharged TCe 90 engine is paired with a six-speed manual gearbox, delivering CO2 emissions from 135 g/km and fuel economy up to 47.9 mpg. Alternatively, the E-Tech full hybrid 145 features a 1.6-litre four-cylinder petrol engine combined with two electric motors and a smart automatic dog clutch gearbox. This hybrid powertrain achieves up to 60.1 mpg with CO2 emissions as low as 105 g/km.
The hybrid system's series-parallel architecture includes a 36 kW electric motor and an 18 kW high-voltage starter generator, powered by a 1.2 kWh battery. The gearbox, with four gears for the petrol engine and two for the electric motor, offers fourteen possible drive combinations, optimizing performance and efficiency. This setup also provides the quietness of an electric vehicle without the need for external charging.
