The new Porsche Macan with rear-wheel drive is now available as the entry point to the all-electric SUV series. Positioned higher in the performance range, the new Macan 4S bridges the gap between the Macan 4 and the Macan Turbo. Both models feature the electronically controlled Porsche Traction Management (ePTM) system, offering significantly faster power distribution between the front and rear axles compared to traditional all-wheel-drive systems.

Macan: 100 kWh Battery and Highly Efficient Power Electronics
The entry model of the all-electric Porsche Macan is powered by a high-voltage battery with a gross energy content of 100 kWh. The rear-axle motor used in the Macan 4 provides 250 kW (340 PS) and utilizes silicon carbide (SiC) in the pulse inverter for greater efficiency. With Launch Control, the Macan can produce up to 265 kW (360 PS) and 563 Nm of torque, reaching 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds and achieving a top speed of 220 km/h. The omission of all-wheel drive makes the Macan 110 kg lighter than the Macan 4, leading to a combined WLTP range of up to 641 km.
New Colour, New Wheels, New Off-Road Design Package
The Macan lineup now includes a new exterior colour, Slate Grey Neo. A 20-inch Macan S wheel has been added to the wheel portfolio, and a new off-road design package is available for all models. This package enhances the Macan's ability to navigate rough dirt roads and steep inclines, increasing the approach angle to 17.4 degrees and raising ground clearance by 10 mm to 195 mm with the adaptive air suspension. The package is offered in two colours: Vesuvius Grey and the vehicle's exterior colour, with matching 21-inch off-road design wheels.
Porsche Driver Experience with New Design and New Function
Porsche has introduced a new display and control system for the electrified Macan. The Porsche Driver Experience combines digital and analogue elements, including a 12.6-inch curved display, a 10.9-inch passenger display, a head-up display with augmented reality technology, and ambient lighting with a communication light. The screens have been redesigned with an emotional welcoming animation, an updated look, and a new Themes app that allows customization of the display and ambient lighting colours to match the exterior, with twelve colours available.
The new Macan and Macan 4S are available for order now, with deliveries expected in the second half of the year.
