About the Car

2025 Mazda 6e

Mazda introduced the 2025 Mazda 6e at the 2025 Brussels Motor Show as its first fully electric vehicle (BEV) for the European market. Scheduled for sale in left-hand drive European markets in 2025 and in UK dealerships by mid-2026, this electric hatchback combines a fastback saloon style with modern innovation.

Evolution of the Mazda6 Legacy

The Mazda 6e continues the legacy of the Mazda6, which was popular from 2002 to 2023 across three generations. This all-new mid-sized electric car blends a contemporary flowing design, a sleek cabin, and Mazda's signature focus on driving dynamics, offering a refreshing reinterpretation of its predecessors.

Battery and Performance Options

The 2025 Mazda 6e offers two battery configurations to cater to varying preferences:

  • 68.8kWh Battery: Provides up to 300 miles of range. Capable of 200kW DC charging, it charges from 10% to 80% in 22 minutes, adding 145 miles in 15 minutes. Delivers 258ps for a 0-62mph acceleration of 7.6 seconds.
  • 80kWh Battery: Offers a longer range of up to 345 miles. Charges from 10% to 80% in 45 minutes. Produces 244ps and accelerates to 62mph in 7.8 seconds.

Both variants feature 320Nm of torque, a rear-wheel-drive setup, and support for rapid DC charging.
