Striking On- and Off-Road Appearance

The refreshed exterior design of the new Kia Sorento embodies futuristic boldness, contributing to a premium look. The front features a new bonnet design with a higher volume and a more defined silhouette. The Kia logo has been repositioned to the top of the hood. Unique vertical headlamps, star map DRLs, and a new radiator grille design with a 3D mesh pattern emphasize a progressive and high-tech image.

The vehicle's side includes a new fender garnish design and three new wheel designs: 18-, 19-, or 20-inch alloy wheels. The 18- and 20-inch wheels are exclusive to the internal combustion engine (ICE) Sorento, while the 19-inch wheels are available on all powertrain variations. The rear features a refreshed taillight design with diagonal LEDs and vertical taillamp star map graphics, enhancing the SUV's solid look. A slim-type LED high-mounted stop light and an updated rear bumper with an exhaust garnish add to its rugged appearance.

Three New Colors for More Power of Choice

The new Kia Sorento is available in 10 exterior colors in Europe, including three new options: Volcanic Sand, Interstellar Grey (from the EV6), and Cityscape Green (from Niro). Existing colors include Clear White, Snow White Pearl, Aurora Black Pearl, Silky Silver, Gravity Blue, Steel Gray, and Mineral Blue.

Interior Refresh for Maximum Comfort

Inside, the Kia Sorento offers a sense of infinite wideness with its panoramic dimensions. Ambient lighting, available in 64 colors, enhances the modern, high-tech feel. New features include front relaxation seats, a Driver Ergo motion seat with air cell type lumbar support, and power-adjustable bolster support. Heated and ventilated front seats, heated second-row seats, and a heated steering wheel ensure maximum comfort.

Sustainable Interior Trim Strategy

The interior of the new Kia Sorento reflects the Bold for Nature design philosophy, using sustainable materials like artificial leather and recycled plastic (PET) in a new Sage Green trim level. Two new optional trim levels include black leather with a new punching design pattern and black Nappa leather with a new quilting design and grey piping.

Electrified Powertrains for Responsible Driving

The new Kia Sorento offers a choice of diesel, hybrid, or plug-in hybrid powertrain options. The Plug-in Hybrid features a 1.6 T-GDI engine with a 13.8 kWh battery and a six-speed automatic transmission (6AT), standard with 4WD. The Hybrid comes with a 1.6 T-GDI engine, a 1.49 kWh battery, a 6AT, and options for 2WD or 4WD. A 2.2 diesel engine is available with an eight-speed dual clutch transmission (8DCT) and either 2WD or 4WD.

Enhanced Technology for a Seamless Experience

The new Kia Sorento is equipped with dual panoramic integrated screens: a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen with navigation and a 12.3-inch driver instrument cluster. A 10-inch head-up display, digital rear-view mirror, multi-mode touch display, and dual zone climate control enhance the driving experience. Features like fingerprint recognition, a wireless phone charger, multiple USB-C charging ports, a Bose premium sound system, and a digital key 2.0 add convenience. The ‘User Profile Transfer’ feature allows users to back up and transfer their Kia Connect preferences via the Cloud.

Upgraded ADAS and Safety Features

New features include Highway Drive Assist 2.0 with Lane Change Assist, Surround View Monitor (SVM) with 3D view, and enhanced Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist. Additional safety features like Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control (NSCC), Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA), and Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist (RCCA) are also available. The Away Close Tailgate feature adds convenience by closing the trunk automatically when the driver leaves the detection area.

The Sorento is fitted with up to seven airbags, including a new second-row rear thorax airbag and a front center airbag designed to prevent head contact during a collision.
