Evolving Styling to Match Kia’s Design Language
The 2025 EV6 maintains its distinct identity while incorporating updates aligned with Kia's modern design direction. The signature Star Map lighting shapes the headlights, complemented by wing-like daytime running lights that emphasize a wide, dynamic stance. A revised front bumper features sharper angles and deeper hood lines, while the rear includes three-dimensional Star Map-inspired taillights and a wing-style bumper. New wheel designs, ranging from 19 to 21 inches, enhance the model’s aesthetic appeal.
Inside, the horizontal design theme enhances spaciousness, with dual 12.3-inch displays integrating the driver’s instrument cluster and infotainment screen. Updates such as Star Map interior lighting, a D-shaped steering wheel, and an upgraded center console create a sophisticated and sporty atmosphere. Adjusted dimensions—an added 0.6 inches in length and front overhang—bolster its sporty proportions.
Performance and Range Enhancements
Responding to consumer demand, the 2025 EV6 introduces improved battery options. A standard 63.0 kWh battery delivers 167 hp and 258 lb.-ft. of torque, while an 84.0 kWh battery offers a targeted range of 319 miles in rear-wheel drive trims. All-wheel-drive models deliver up to 320 hp, with the GT trim achieving an impressive 641 hp and 568 lb.-ft. of torque in GT mode.
Charging capabilities remain a highlight, with the 800-volt ultra-fast DC charging system enabling compatibility with the North American Charging Standard. A redesigned Integrated Converter Control Unit (ICCU) improves charging output density. The towing capacity for long-range models reaches 2,700 lbs., with intelligent trailer weight detection optimizing the remaining range estimate.
Next-Generation Technology Features
The Connected Car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC) system brings faster processing, enhanced visuals, and over-the-air updates for navigation, powertrain, and driver assistance features. The Kia Connect Store expands in-vehicle digital services, offering streaming, gaming, and Wi-Fi Hotspot functionality. Drivers can customize the interface with unique NBA team color schemes and logos.
Key convenience additions include ultrawideband Digital Key 2.0, enabling smartphone or NFC-enabled smart card access to lock, unlock, and operate the vehicle. Parking aids such as Remote Smart Parking Assist and Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist streamline parking in tight spaces.
Advanced Safety Systems with Expanded ADAS Features
The 2025 EV6 integrates Kia’s advanced driver assistance technologies. Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist 2 now includes features like Junction Turning Vehicle and Lane Change Side Vehicle assist, while Highway Driving Assist 2 supports adaptive lane changes and distance maintenance on highways. Parking Distance Warning and flush door handles with automatic deployment are now standard.
