The 2025 Kia EV6 GT-Line is available in three trims in the UK: ‘Air,’ ‘GT-Line,’ and ‘GT-Line S.’ Each trim comes equipped with a range of standard features to meet diverse customer needs. The latest EV6 iteration offers an upgraded battery pack with a capacity of 84.0kWh, an enhancement over its predecessor. In the base ‘Air’ trim, this battery powers a single motor delivering 225bhp and 350Nm of torque to the rear wheels, enabling a range of up to 361 miles* on a full charge.

Rear-Wheel Drive and All-Wheel Drive Options

Both the ‘GT-Line’ and ‘GT-Line S’ trims can be configured with either rear-wheel drive (RWD) or a dual-motor all-wheel drive (AWD) system. The RWD versions of the ‘GT-Line’ achieve up to 361 miles* on a single charge, while the ‘GT-Line S’ variant offers a slightly reduced range of up to 347 miles*.

Performance Enhancements in AWD Variants

The AWD versions of the ‘GT-Line’ and ‘GT-Line S’ trims significantly boost the EV6's performance. With an output of 320bhp and 605Nm of torque, these variants offer a more dynamic driving experience. Despite the increased power and torque, the AWD ‘GT-Line’ and ‘GT-Line S’ maintain impressive ranges of up to 339 and 324 miles, respectively, on a single charge. Additionally, the ‘GT-Line S’ trim is available with an optional heat pump, which enhances battery efficiency in colder weather.

Advanced Battery Charging Technology

The 2025 Kia EV6 features an advanced 800V charging system, marking a notable improvement over the previous model. This new system achieves a peak charging power of 258kW, an 8% increase from the previous 239kW capability. The 84.0kWh battery can be recharged from 10% to 80% in just 18 minutes, and a quick 15-minute charge can provide up to 343 kilometers of additional range.

UK Availability and Fleet Benefits

UK deliveries for the 2025 Kia EV6 are scheduled to begin in Q3 2024. Customers will have the option to choose between the ‘Air,’ ‘GT-Line,’ and ‘GT-Line S’ trims at launch. Fleet customers are also expected to benefit from a favorable 2% benefit-in-kind (BIK) tax rate for electric vehicles in 2024/25, with a slight increase to 3% for the 2025/26 tax years.

Future Model: Kia EV6 GT

Following the launch of the 2025 Kia EV6 GT-Line, the high-performance EV6 GT is set to arrive in early 2025, expanding the EV6 range further.
