Exterior Design
Kia’s "Opposites United" design philosophy plays a central role in the EV3’s exterior, blending nature with modernity. The vertical headlamps and clean front end give the car a confident stance, while the "Tiger Face" design and vertical Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) offer a bold front profile. The side profile emphasizes agility with a sleek roofline and hatchback-style tailgate, and the muscular rear, complete with Star Map-inspired rear lights, contributes to the high-tech appearance. Available in nine body colors, the EV3 offers exclusive shades like Aventurine Green and Terracotta. The GT-line further enhances the rugged aesthetic with contrasting trim and a sportier bumper.
Interior Design
The 2025 Kia EV3’s interior is designed to maximize comfort and functionality for five occupants. Inspired by nature, the cabin offers a spacious, home-like atmosphere with multi-adjustable ambient lighting, ultra-comfortable seats, and a sliding center console table for additional storage. The EV3 also features an expansive luggage area, including a 25-liter frunk and a 460-liter rear load capacity, making it ideal for activities like camping trips. The 30-inch widescreen display, divided into three sections, offers intuitive controls and entertainment access for both driver and passenger.
Electric Drivetrain
The EV3 rides on Kia’s Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) and is powered by a 150kW/283Nm motor. Two battery options are available: a 58.3kWh battery in the Standard model and an 81.4kWh battery in the Long Range version. The EV3 offers a best 0-100 km/h acceleration of 7.5 seconds and a top speed of 170 km/h. The Long Range model provides up to 600 km on a single charge (WLTP), and with ultra-fast charging, the battery can be replenished from 10% to 80% in around 31 minutes.
Advanced Safety and Driving Features
Kia equips the EV3 with safety technologies typically found in larger SUVs. Features like eDTVC Electric Dynamic Torque Vectoring Control, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, and Lane Keeping Assist ensure a stable and secure drive. The Remote Smart Parking Assist allows the car to be maneuvered into tight spaces without the driver in the vehicle. Additionally, the EV3 is the first to feature i-Pedal 3.0 regenerative braking, enhancing energy efficiency and one-pedal driving.
Innovative Connectivity and Technology
The Kia EV3 features a range of digital and entertainment options, including a Harman Kardon sound system and a suite of connectivity features. Passengers can personalize their display with NBA-inspired themes and enjoy games and streaming through Kia’s Premium Streaming service. The EV3 is also the first model to introduce Kia’s AI Assistant, which offers voice-activated controls and real-time guidance for an enhanced driving experience.
Global Launch of the Kia EV3
Kia’s global campaign "A Moving Power" highlights the EV3’s role in pushing sustainable, convenient mobility forward. The 2025 Kia EV3 is expected to debut in Korea in July 2024, followed by a European launch later in the year, with plans for further expansion into other regions.
