The heart of the Jeep Avenger 4xe is made up of a 48V dynamic hybrid system, characterized by a robust 1.2-litre turbo engine capable of delivering 136 HP of power and two 21 kW electric engines positioned in the front and rear of the vehicle. This configuration is combined with a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, which allows you to travel in full-electric mode at low speeds thanks to the integrated electric motor. A harmonious system, which ensures not only top performance as Jeep enthusiasts desire, but also maximum fun, thanks to the E-Boost function available in Sport mode.

The extra power under the hood allows the Jeep Avenger 4xe to offer excellent performance: it reaches a maximum power of 136 HP and a speed of up to 194 km/h (+10 km/h compared to the hybrid model), with acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 9.5 seconds. The 4xe engine projects the already legendary capabilities of the hybrid Jeep Avenger towards new heights, offering maximum power and torque, with 36 HP and 25 Nm more than the e-Hybrid FWD version. This allows for faster acceleration and a higher top speed, keeping the increase in CO2 emissions low. The 4xe engine with its solid performance perfectly combines power and sustainability; furthermore, thanks to all-wheel drive combined with hybrid technology, it allows for reduced consumption and emissions.

Although the front-wheel drive model was already unrivaled in its category, the 4xe variant benefits from important upgrades such as the improvement of the approach, breakover and departure angles, the 10 mm increase in ground clearance and the ford up to 400 mm. The exceptional engine, combined with the 22.7:1 reduction gear positioned on the rear axle, delivers an extraordinary 1,900 Nm of torque to the rear wheels, guaranteeing unparalleled traction. This ability allows it to overcome slopes close to 40% on challenging terrain such as gravel and up to 20% in the absence of grip on the front axle.

The Jeep Avenger 4xe also features an intelligent all-wheel drive system, ensuring 4x4 capability is always available when needed. At low speeds (up to 30 km/h), traction on all four wheels is permanent, with a 50:50 split. At medium speeds (30 to 90 km/h), the drive on the rear axle is activated only on request. It should be underlined that, even with zero Nm of torque, the rear electric motor remains connected to the rear wheels for any unexpected needs. When all-wheel drive is engaged, torque distribution is based on the actual need of the moment, with a potential split of up to 50:50. At high speeds (above 90 km/h), front-wheel drive becomes permanent and the rear electric motor is disconnected from the axle to minimize fuel consumption.

The Selec-Terrain function of the Jeep Avenger 4xe allows the driver to select the most appropriate mode for each situation: Auto, with all-wheel drive only on request, ideal for everyday driving with minimal CO2 emissions; Snow, for better stability control and intelligent all-wheel drive for safe travel even in winter conditions; Sand&Mud, suitable for irregular terrain with specific gear ratios and traction control; Sport, which maximizes the power and torque delivered by the 4xe system, with the addition of e-boost on the rear wheels.
