2025 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid European Version
The 2025 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid European Version was showcased at Rudniki airport near Częstochowa in early June.
The 2025 Tucson Hybrid retains its distinctive front design with LED light segments forming a wing pattern, now updated to four larger elements per side with matrix technology and integrated turn signals.
Exterior updates include a redesigned grille, bumpers, side embossments, new color options, and rim designs, giving the car a more modern yet evolutionary appearance.
The rear wiper's cleaning surface has been increased, adding a practical enhancement to the vehicle's design.
The interior features a completely new design with a revamped steering wheel, repositioned buttons, and a new dashboard layout with aligned clock and center screens.
Transmission control has moved from center tunnel buttons to a lever on the steering wheel, and the air conditioning system now uses two integrated knobs for easier control.
Interior materials have been upgraded for a higher quality feel, with additional storage options and updated USB sockets, aligning the styling with other Hyundai models like the KONA and IONIQ 5.
The Tucson’s primary engine is a four-cylinder 1.6 turbocharged unit, available with a 6MT manual gearbox or a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, including mild hybrid technology and four-wheel drive options.
The hybrid (HEV) version offers 215 HP with a six-speed torque converter gearbox and comes with both FWD and AWD options. Updates include increased electric motor power and enhanced electric-only propulsion capabilities.
In 2023, the Hyundai Tucson was the top-selling D-SUV model in Europe, with 152,502 units sold, including nearly 11,000 in Poland. The model accounts for about 40% of Hyundai's sales in Poland, with hybrid versions representing nearly 30% of Tucson sales.

Exterior: Thoughtful Evolution The 2025
Tucson Hybrid stands out with its distinctive front design, featuring
LED light segments forming a wing pattern. The facelift has modified
this pattern to four larger elements per side, now incorporating matrix
technology and integrated turn signals. The grille, bumpers, and side
embossments have been redesigned, with new colors and rim designs added.
These changes provide a modern, yet evolutionary, look. The rear also
sees a minor yet practical update with an increased rear wiper cleaning
surface.
Interior of the New Tucson: Like a Different Car
The interior of the new Tucson is completely revamped. The redesigned
steering wheel and repositioned buttons, along with a new dashboard
layout, enhance the driver’s experience. The clock and center screens
are now aligned at the same height and slightly curved towards the
driver. Transmission control has shifted from center tunnel buttons to a
lever on the steering wheel. The air conditioning system now uses two
integrated knobs. Interior materials have been upgraded for a higher
quality feel, and additional storage options have been introduced, such
as a new shelf for small items and updated USB sockets. The interior
styling aligns with other Hyundai models like the KONA and IONIQ 5,
marking a significant shift.
Minor Changes to Drive Systems
The Tucson’s primary engine is a four-cylinder 1.6 turbocharged unit,
available in multiple configurations. The base model features a 160 HP
engine with a 6MT manual gearbox, with options for a seven-speed
dual-clutch automatic transmission and mild hybrid technology. Higher
trim levels offer four-wheel drive. The hybrid (HEV) version, with 215
HP and a six-speed torque converter gearbox, comes with both FWD and AWD
options. The facelift has slightly increased the power of the electric
motor and the maximum speed for electric-only propulsion, enhancing
flexibility and quietness within the cabin. The plug-in hybrid remains
the most advanced drive system available.
