Retro Silhouette, Reimagined with Intent

The 2025 HWA EVO doesn’t try to hide what it is. It’s loud—visually and mechanically. From the first image, there’s no doubt: this thing wants to make you feel something. Based on the legendary Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.5-16 Evo II, the new EVO isn’t a continuation car or a licensed tribute. It’s a complete reinterpretation by HWA AG—the same crew that helped AMG dominate DTM in the ‘90s.

Visually, it’s faithful, but not stuck in the past. The boxy silhouette remains, including that towering rear wing and squared-off bodywork. But there’s new aggression in the stance. It sits wider. Tauter. The wheels are deep-dish with a purposeful offset, and the surfaces have a sharpness that wasn’t there before.
