Enhanced Chassis and Off-Road Technology
The Ranger Wildtrak X and Tremor both offer improved off-road performance due to unique suspension upgrades and advanced systems like Trail Turn Assist and Trail Control. Trail Turn Assist uses brake-based torque vectoring to reduce turning radius, while Trail Control allows drivers to set a speed below 32 km/h, with the vehicle managing acceleration and braking through difficult terrain. Additionally, Rock Crawl mode—previously only available on the Ranger Raptor—optimizes control on rocky terrain by adjusting throttle response and traction control.
Ranger Wildtrak X Specifications
Building on the base Wildtrak model, the 2025 Ford Ranger Wildtrak X has a 26 mm ride height increase and a 30 mm wider track for greater stability in challenging environments. The model is powered by a 2.0-litre EcoBlue bi-turbo diesel engine, producing 500 Nm of torque and 205 PS. Paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, the engine is designed to deliver strong off-road capability with a full-time four-wheel drive system.
The Wildtrak X also includes an upgraded heavy-duty power steering system and a steel bash plate for additional protection on rough terrain.
Off-Road Styling and Interior Design
The Wildtrak X stands out with a rugged visual design, featuring underbody protection, wider stance, and increased ground clearance. Its distinctive look is further enhanced by an Asphalt Black grille surround, H-bar, and wheel arch trim, along with black 17-inch alloy wheels. Optional matrix LED headlamps offer improved visibility, while all-terrain tires provide better grip. Inside, the model includes Miko suede-trimmed seats with Wildtrak X embroidery, along with Cyber Orange stitching on the dashboard and door trims.
Innovative Flexible Rack System
Both the Wildtrak X and Tremor can be equipped with Ford’s new Flexible Rack System. This system includes a folding roof rack and sliding rear load hoop, allowing users to carry long items securely over the roof, freeing up bed space for other cargo. This system will also be available for Ranger Limited and Wildtrak series from March 2023.
Ford Pro’s latest additions further enhance its dominance in the European pickup market, offering models that combine advanced off-road technology with rugged design, making them well-suited for both professionals and enthusiasts seeking robust off-road performance.
