About the Car

2025 Callum C-X75

CALLUM has re-engineered the Jaguar C-X75, creating an exclusive, high-performance iteration of this supercar. This second custom build, meticulously crafted for a client, enhances the car’s engineering, performance, and driving comfort, marking a refined evolution of the C-X75’s design. The project follows CALLUM’s earlier work on one of the C-X75 stunt cars from the James Bond film Spectre and represents a unique interpretation of the C-X75 concept, blending bespoke engineering with enhanced usability.

  • CALLUM completed a second bespoke Jaguar C-X75 commission, building on its previous work with a Spectre stunt car, with a focus on performance, comfort, and usability.

  • Car 001’s re-engineering included modifications beyond those required for Individual Vehicle Approval, with a new drivetrain, active aerodynamics, and upgraded driving dynamics.

  • The car’s supercharged V8 engine now pairs with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, designed to shift between road mode and a sport-focused dynamic mode.

  • CALLUM’s active aero system, activated at 60 km/h, provides additional downforce for stability, while an air brake improves handling during braking.

  • To accommodate urban driving, CALLUM equipped the car with hydraulic front lift suspension, tested for balanced handling and stability.

  • Exterior upgrades include a Willow Green paint finish, carbon fiber accents, brushed aluminum surrounds, and other bespoke design elements.

  • Inside, CALLUM redesigned the cabin with a mix of dark green and cream tones, using a “waterline” pattern for a dual-natured environment blending comfort and performance.

  • User-friendly technology includes three angled rotary controls, Apple CarPlay, a wireless charging pad, and a premium sound system, offering practical and advanced connectivity.

  • The interior features custom leather upholstery, a digital rearview mirror, an electronic parking brake, and an immobilizer with a blipper key, balancing convenience with security.

  • Advanced additive manufacturing techniques enabled the creation of unique interior elements, adding to CALLUM’s growing portfolio of bespoke automotive projects.

Precision Engineering for Enhanced Driving

Working closely with the client, CALLUM tailored Car 001, going beyond the hundreds of modifications typically required for Individual Vehicle Approval. The drivetrain was re-engineered, and active aerodynamics were incorporated, elevating the driving experience. Along with a powerful seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, the enhanced exhaust system delivers a balanced sound tuned by acoustic experts, offering both practical road use and dynamic sport mode options.

Advanced Aerodynamics and Driving Dynamics

The CALLUM C-X75 incorporates an advanced active aero system, which provides added downforce and braking stability at speeds over 60 km/h. An air brake enhances control during braking, while a hydraulic front lift suspension adds practical urban driving capability. Extensive testing ensures balanced handling in all conditions, with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres fitted on the original 20” front and 21” rear wheels for optimal performance on both road and track.

Exterior Refinement with Meticulous Detail

CALLUM invested over 1,000 hours into the bodywork, achieving precise panel alignment and a deep Willow Green finish inspired by natural tones. Custom details, like machined brushed aluminum surrounds, a unique filler cap, and visual carbon fiber accents, emphasize the car’s exclusivity. Subtle touches such as the etched C-X75 emblem on the exhaust tailpipe and enhanced light diffusion at the rear add to the car’s distinctive look.

Reimagined Interior Design for a Dual-Natured Environment

The C-X75’s interior redefines the cabin experience, with a driver-centric design in dark green and cream hues. CALLUM’s design head, Aleck Jones, emphasized a fusion of comfort and performance aesthetics. The cabin’s dynamic “waterline” design, prominent metal elements, and leather textures blend modern style with ergonomic functionality, creating a refined but sporty feel.

User-Centric Technology Integration

Inside, three intuitive rotary controls, a wireless charging pad, Apple CarPlay compatibility, and an enhanced sound system meet modern connectivity and audio needs. Each control is angled toward the driver, ensuring accessibility without disrupting the cockpit’s clean lines. The minimalist setup features a digital instrument cluster under an acrylic cowl and roof-mounted controls, echoing aircraft design.

Handcrafted Interior Details

CALLUM further customized the interior with supple Bridge of Weir leather seats and a custom-machined steering wheel crafted to the client’s specifications. Key features like the digital rearview mirror, electronic park brake, and secure immobilizer add convenience and security, blending classic design with modern technology in a refined manner.

Engineering a Refined Road-Ready Supercar

Converting a raw stunt car into a refined supercar posed unique engineering challenges, from balancing noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) to seamlessly integrating modern conveniences. CALLUM’s engineering team, led by Adam Donfrancesco, prioritized high standards of NVH and weatherproofing, achieving a comprehensive transformation that balances powerful performance with day-to-day usability.

Innovative Manufacturing Techniques

Advanced manufacturing techniques, including additive manufacturing, enabled CALLUM to produce complex interior forms and unique design features. These methods, developed with Stratasys, allowed for functional interior elements like cup holders within the sill trim, illustrating CALLUM’s commitment to blending design with practical innovation.

Expanding CALLUM’s Portfolio of Bespoke Projects

The bespoke Jaguar C-X75 adds to CALLUM’s growing list of custom automotive projects, including the CALLUM Vanquish 25 and Prodrive P25 interior design. As CALLUM continues to deliver exclusive, one-off vehicles from its Warwick, UK headquarters, the C-X75 serves as a testament to the firm’s capacity to bring unique visions into on-road reality.
