2025 BYD Sea Lion 05 EV

Recently, the official photos of BYD Haisheng 05 EV were released. The new car is positioned as a pure electric compact SUV. The entire series is equipped with the Eye of God C high-end intelligent driving and DiLink 100 smart cockpit as standard. The new car will be launched on March 25.

In terms of appearance, the Sea Lion 05 EV adopts a new design language, with C-shaped daytime running lights running through and connecting the left and right sides, dark and deep LED headlights, two dynamic air intakes under the headlights, and the front surround showing crossover design elements. The new car also provides a large front trunk space.

In terms of body size, the vehicle is 4520/1860/1630mm in length, width and height respectively, and the wheelbase is 2720mm. The new car has a dynamic waistline, with a double waistline design, with a horizontal waistline on the upper part and an inclined waistline on the lower part. At the same time, the new car uses low-drag wheels.

At the rear of the vehicle, the taillight group design echoes the headlight, also adopting a through-type design and showing a wavy light source style. In addition, the rear spoiler of the new car shows a dynamic attribute, and the rear surround also highlights the crossover design elements.

In terms of interior, the new car adopts a through-type countertop design, piano lacquer material, the instrument panel is embedded in the center console, the center is equipped with a square floating center console screen, equipped with DiLink 100 smart cockpit, and the air-conditioning outlet is also well integrated into the panel. Due to the hand-held gear design, there is more storage space under the center console, and it also provides a 50W wireless charging panel, a car refrigerator, and physical shortcut buttons.

In terms of power, the vehicle is equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous motor model TZ200XSAY, which can output a maximum power of 140kW, equipped with a lithium iron phosphate battery pack, and a maximum speed of 180km/h. The new car is equipped with the Eye of God C high-level intelligent driving as standard.
