Recently, the official photo of Buick GL8 Luzun PHEV was released. The new car will be released on "Buick Brand Day" on April 24, and the price is expected to be announced. Buick GL8 Lu Zun PHEV will be equipped with SAIC General Motors' new generation PHEV smart plug-in hybrid system, with a CLTC comprehensive cruising range of up to 1,370 kilometers, achieving an upgrade in electrification, comfort, and intelligent experience. The appearance of Buick GL8 Lu Zun PHEV adopts the pure design concept in line with Century, integrating the connotation of oriental landscape, modern aesthetics and digital technology. The front of the car retains the large-sized grille design, and the front face adopts a split headlight design, with the upper part being the daytime running lights and the lower part being the headlight set.

The side of the body retains the dynamic shape of the GL8, making it instantly recognizable. The rear of the vehicle may still have through-type taillights, but the overall visual effect is still very coordinated. The light groups on both sides echo the headlights, creating an atmospheric and stretched visual effect. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 5219/1878/1807mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 3088mm.

The current GL8 Lu Zun's 0-100km/h acceleration time is 9.8 seconds, and it is speculated that the plug-in hybrid version is expected to be about 8.5 seconds. In addition, the car has both fast charging and slow charging interfaces.
