BMW Group Canada has announced the 2025 BMW X5 Edition 25 Jahre, a limited-edition model celebrating 25 years of the BMW X5. Exclusive to Canada, only 250 units will be produced. The X5, first introduced in 1999, pioneered the premium Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) category and has since seen nearly 3 million units produced at BMW’s Spartanburg plant. The BMW X5 Edition 25 Jahre is based on the 2025 X5 xDrive40i and will be available at Canadian retailers in late 2024 with a starting MSRP of $102,500 CAD.

Unique Colours and Trims The BMW X5 Edition 25 Jahre is visually set apart by its exclusive combination of exterior colours and trim details from both the xLine and M Sport designs. Customers can choose between two colours from the BMW Individual Manufaktur portfolio: Oxford Green II Metallic and Le Mans Blue Metallic, both paying homage to the first-generation X5. The Oxford Green version features a Coffee Sensafin interior with Fineline Stripe Brown High-Gloss Trim, while the Le Mans Blue variant includes a Silverstone Sensafin interior and Poplar Grain Anthracite Brown Open-Pored Trim. Additional exterior features include Gloss Black Window Surrounds, Black Exterior Contents, and 21-inch Y-spoke wheels in Orbit Grey, a nod to the original X5’s Y-Spoke Style 131 wheels.

Through the Driver Experience Control switch, drivers can select from modes like xSnow, xSand, xGravel, and xRocks, adjusting the vehicle’s performance for various terrains. The package also includes 2-axle air suspension, a mechanical rear differential lock, underbody protection plates, and an xOffroad View to provide detailed terrain information in off-road situations. The xOffroad camera assists drivers by offering terrain views at speeds below 22 mph.
