2025 Audi RS Q8: Enhanced Performance and Features
Audi is expanding the Audi Q8 lineup with the introduction of the 2025 Audi RS Q8 and RS Q8 Performance. The RS Q8 boasts a powerful output of 441 kW (600 PS), while the RS Q8 Performance version offers an even higher output of 471 kW (640 PS). Both models feature an optimized self-locking center differential, ensuring exceptional driving dynamics and everyday usability. The RS Q8 models also come with new customization options and are set to launch in June, with starting prices of 141,900 euros for the RS Q8 and 155,700 euros for the RS Q8 Performance.
Unmistakably Audi Sport: Exterior Design
The exterior of the new Audi RS Q8 and RS Q8 Performance showcases a dynamic front apron with prominent air intakes, a distinctive honeycomb structure, and high-gloss black or matte gray accents. The large singleframe grille features a three-dimensional honeycomb design, and the rear section includes two oval tailpipes with a central diffuser. These design elements highlight the sporty aesthetics of the RS Q8 models.
Eight-Cylinder Engine: Power and Performance
The RS Q8 is powered by a twin-turbocharged eight-cylinder engine, producing 441 kW (600 PS) and 800 Nm of torque, enabling it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds. The RS Q8 Performance, with an increased output of 471 kW (640 PS) and 850 Nm of torque, achieves 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds. The enhanced exhaust system reduces back pressure, enhancing engine output and providing a sportier sound. Both models offer an optional RS sport exhaust system for an even more intense auditory experience.
Driving Dynamics: Quattro All-Wheel Drive
Both versions of the RS Q8 feature permanent quattro all-wheel drive combined with an eight-speed Tiptronic transmission, offering faster shifting times. The mechanical center differential distributes engine power between the front and rear axles in a 40:60 ratio, improving cornering precision and reducing understeer.
Suspension: Agility and Comfort
The RS Q8 and RS Q8 Performance come standard with adaptive air suspension sport with controlled damping, allowing the ride height to vary by up to 90 millimeters. Optional electromechanical active roll stabilization (eAWS) minimizes lateral body movements, enhancing stability and comfort. The dynamic package plus, available for the RS Q8, includes eAWS, a quattro sport differential, and an RS ceramic braking system, allowing a top speed of 305 km/h.
Lighting Technology: Advanced Features
The RS Q8 models feature Matrix LED headlights, with optional HD Matrix LED headlights and Audi laser light for extended high beam range. The top model also includes digital OLED rear lights with multiple signatures and a proximity indication feature for enhanced road safety.
Sporty Equipment Options
The RS Q8 and RS Q8 Performance offer a range of new paint finishes, including Sakhir Gold, Ascari Blue, and Chili Red. The exterior mirrors and other components are available in high-gloss black or matte gray. Optional 23-inch light-alloy wheels with various finishes and high-performance Pirelli P Zero tires improve grip and handling.
Interior: Customization and Comfort
The interior offers red, gray, or blue RS design packages, with contrasting stitching and special features like Ocean Blue seat belts. Decorative inlays are available in materials like matte brushed aluminum, Carbon Twill, and Gray Oak. The RS Q8 Performance includes additional exclusive options like 23-inch light-alloy wheels and high-performance Pirelli P Zero tires.
Record Holder: Nürburgring Performance
The RS Q8 Performance has set a new record as the fastest SUV on the Nürburgring's Nordschleife, completing the track in 7:36.698 minutes. This achievement is attributed to the powerful V8 engine and advanced chassis components, including adaptive air suspension sport, eAWS, all-wheel steering, and a quattro sport differential.

The upgraded RS Q8 will be available for order from June 27, 2024, with prices starting at 141,900 euros. The new RS Q8 Performance, the most powerful SUV from Audi Sport GmbH, starts at 155,700 euros.
