Inspired by the Audi 90 quattro IMSA GTO

The Audi RS 6 Avant GT draws inspiration from the 2020 RS 6 GTO concept, a project by twelve apprentices. These apprentices worked on the project for six months with support from Audi Design, taking cues from the iconic 1989 Audi 90 quattro IMSA GTO race car. This collaboration highlights the innovative contributions of young talents to Audi's design legacy.

Striking Exterior Features

The Audi RS 6 Avant GT stands out with its striking front end, inspired by the RS 6 GTO concept. The high-gloss black Singleframe and air intakes make the car appear lower and wider. Vertical blades, a new intake grille, and a powerful front splitter enhance the aggressive look. The redesigned bonnet, made from carbon fiber, and air outlets behind the 22-inch wheels improve brake cooling. Carbon fiber wheel arches and other exterior elements add to the vehicle's unique appearance.

Exclusive Design Options

Customers can choose exclusive decals in two color schemes: traditional Audi Sport colors with Arkona White or black and grey tones with Nardo Grey or Mythos Black. Unique Manufacturing Process

Unlike the regular RS 6 Avant performance, the RS 6 Avant GT is not entirely assembled on the production line in Neckarsulm. After initial construction, the 660 models are finished at the Böllinger Höfe facility, where the Audi R8 and Audi e-tron GT are also built. This exclusive facility allows for meticulous hand-fitting of GT-specific features by experienced employees, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship.

Production at Böllinger Höfe is net carbon neutral. Audi uses green electricity and heat from renewable sources, offsetting any unavoidable CO2 emissions with carbon credits from certified environmental projects. This effort is part of Audi's Mission initiative for fully sustainable production.
