2025 Audi Q6 e-tron Offroad Concept

At the World Cup weekend in Kitzbühel, Austria, Audi showcased the 2025 Audi Q6 e-tron Offroad Concept, a prototype designed for advanced off-road capabilities. The concept is powered by dual electric motors delivering a combined output of 380 kW, enabling it to climb gradients of up to 100% with the help of newly engineered portal axles.

The Audi Q6 e-tron Offroad Concept provides a glimpse into the future of progressive off-road vehicles. With an increased ride height of 160 mm (6.3 inches) and a wider track by 250 mm (9.8 inches), the concept car achieves a commanding and robust presence.

Audi CEO Gernot Döllner commented on the vehicle’s capabilities, describing it as a modern interpretation of quattro. The development of the Q6 e-tron Offroad Concept began with a fundamental question: how to create a compelling electric vehicle optimized for off-road performance? Audi’s answer is a model equipped with four portal axles integrated into the wheel hubs at the front and rear, necessitating changes to the suspension links. These axles boost the combined torque to 13,400 Nm (9,883 lb-ft) during peak performance, an increase of 4,400 Nm (3,245 lb-ft), showcasing the brand’s Vorsprung durch Technik philosophy.

The Audi Q6 e-tron serves as the foundation for this concept vehicle and is the first production model developed on the Premium Platform Electric (PPE). This platform sets new benchmarks for electric driving, offering exceptional range, charging efficiency, and advanced performance tailored to both on-road and off-road conditions.
