Among its impressive features is the R-Performance Torque Vectoring with Vehicle Dynamics Manager, intelligently distributing drive power not only between the front and rear axles but also between the two rear wheels. This remarkable capability elevates sportiness, particularly during cornering. For a heightened driving experience, the Golf R 333 offers specialized driving profiles, including Drift and Special, designed to unleash exhilaration even outside public roads. The addition of the R Performance exhaust system from Akrapovič, with titanium rear silencers, and the stylish 19-inch Estoril wheel rims with semi-slick tires further emphasize the car’s motorsports character. Notably, the top speed has been increased to an impressive 270 km/h.

The decision to limit this edition to only 333 vehicles stems from the robust engine power of 245 kW (333 PS) and an exceptional torque of 420 newton meters. Engine tuning enhancements result in highly responsive load change response. To maintain a consistent turbocharger speed during partial-load driving, it is preloaded, enabling rapid power development for immediate acceleration. Furthermore, the open throttle valve during overrun phases enhances dynamics and on-road performance. When the driver releases the accelerator and then accelerates again, engine torque builds up faster, significantly improving responsiveness. Achieving an astonishing 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in just 4.6 seconds, the Golf R 333 Limited Edition secures its place as the best-in-class performer among its key competitors.
