2024 Novitec Maserati MC20 Cielo

The specialty of NOVITEC is to make the most exclusive cars even more fascinating. The German automotive refinement specialist now also gives the Maserati MC20 Cielo an even more thrilling and individual appearance.

Tailor-made naked-carbon aerodynamic-enhancement components add even more extravagance to the sporty body styling of the two-seater with retractable roof.
NOVITEC NF11 high-tech forged wheels with a diameter of 21 inches perfectly fill out the available space under the wheel arches. They were custom-developed for this model in cooperation with the American manufacturer Vossen.

The twin-turbo V6 mid-mounted engine with NOVITEC performance tuning produces a peak output of 523 kW / 711 hp and a peak torque of 818 Nm. It slings the open-top sports car from 0-100 km/h in a mere 2.8 seconds and gives it a top speed of over 325 km/h.

Sporty sound and performance optimization are the outstanding traits of the NOVITEC high-performance exhaust system for all MC20 models. The most exclusive option is an ultra-light system produced from the particularly light INCONEL alloy. Optionally this system is also available with 999 fine gold plating.

In addition, NOVITEC fulfills individual customer requests with exclusive interior appointments tailored to the wishes of the vehicle owner in every detail.



For decades, the NOVITEC designers have specialized not only in giving supercars an even more spectacular appearance, but also in further optimizing their aerodynamic qualities. They have also developed bodywork components for the drop-top, mid-engine Maserati, which fully live up to this standard. All NOVITEC aerodynamic-enhancement components for the MC20, coupé and spider, are produced from naked carbon treated with a high-gloss finish sealer.

The NOVITEC front spoiler was sculpted to make the front of the two-seater even more extravagant and reduce front-axle lift at high speeds. It attaches to the production fascia. The NOVITEC ducktail rear spoiler was developed to serve as its aerodynamic counterpart. Naked-carbon inserts for the air intakes in the front hood complete the bodywork refit.

NOVITEC and Vossen, the American manufacturer of high-end alloy wheels, jointly developed the thrilling new NF11 wheel design for the Maserati MC20 Cielo. It features five pairs of twin-spokes extending all the way to the outer edge of the rim. As a result, the 21-inch wheels look bigger than they already are. The use of state-of-the art forging and machining technology makes an optimal combination of consistent lightweight construction and high strength possible. The stylized centerlock rounds off the racing looks of the NOVITEC retrofit. Of course, the new NOVITEC NF11 come in more than the pictured color gold. The flexible Vossen production facilities make it possible to supply these rims not only in 72 different colors, but also with various surface finishes.

The largest combination offered by NOVITEC for all Maserati MC20 models features size 9Jx21 wheels at the front with 255/30 ZR 21 tires and size 12Jx21 rims with 325/25 ZR 21 tires on the rear axle. NOVITEC sports springs lower the ride height of the two-seater by about 25 millimeters, benefitting not only the looks but the handling as well.

NOVITEC delivers further added driving fun with tuning of the twin-turbo 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine. To this end, the engine experts developed special maps for injection, boost pressure control and ignition, which are introduced into the electronic engine control unit of the Maserati by two NOVITEC N-TRONIC plug-and-play modules.

Another contribution to the performance optimization comes courtesy of the NOVITEC high-performance exhaust system with integrated actively controlled butterfly valves. Customers can choose between a stainless-steel version and one manufactured from particularly light INCONEL also used in Formula 1 racing. In order to reduce the temperatures in the engine bay,  all variants are wrapped in high-temperature thermal insulation, which for the INCONEL variant is also available with heat-dissipating 999 fine gold plating. The NOVITEC exhaust system lets the V6 breathe more freely and with open valves produces an even more thrilling exhaust note. 100-cell sports catalysts and custom particulate filters unleash further horsepower. The NOVITEC carbon/stainless-steel tailpipes with a diameter of 100 millimeters treat the rear end to a visual upgrade.

The combination of high-performance maps and sports exhaust boosts the peak output of the six-cylinder engine by 59.6 kW / 81 hp and bumps peak torque by 88 Nm. As a result, the twin-turbo V6 engine with NOVITEC tuning puts out 523 kW / 711 hp at 7,400 rpm and produces a massive peak torque of 818 Nm between 3,000 and 5,500 rpm. Thus powered, the tuned MC20 Cielo sprints from rest to 100 km/h in a mere 2.8 seconds and reaches 200 km/h after just 8.4 seconds. The top speed is over 325 km/h.
