The 2024 Nissan Project Trailgater Concept merges high-tech tailgating with the off-road capability of the refreshed 2025 Nissan Frontier. The vehicle will make its public debut at the 2024 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, running from November 5-8. The integration of a folding solar panel, custom lithium battery pack, and Starlink satellite connection ensures the ability to stream games from virtually anywhere, making it an ideal setup for outdoor gatherings.

Functional Outdoor Kitchen Setup

A built-in Dometic cooler and refrigerator, fold-out kitchen station with a sink, and a propane grill are part of the Project Trailgater’s practical tailgating features. The grill and fire pit, mounted on CargoGlide slide-outs, enhance the outdoor cooking experience, adding convenience to outdoor gatherings and tailgating parties.

Enhanced Off-Road Capabilities

Building on the 2025 Nissan Frontier's off-road strengths, the Project Trailgater is fitted with several NISMO Off Road accessories, including a suspension lift kit, forged upper control arms, high-performance rear shocks, and front coilovers. Additional upgrades like 17-inch Axis beadlock-capable wheels, Yokohama GEOLANDAR M/T tires, a performance exhaust, and added lighting make it even more capable for off-road adventures.

2025 Nissan Frontier PRO-4X Base

The 2025 Nissan Frontier PRO-4X, which serves as the base for this build, benefits from a visual refresh, including a new front fascia and wheels. The Frontier also adds a standard telescopic-adjusting steering wheel and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system in higher trims. Its ruggedness is enhanced by all-terrain tires, a locking rear differential, Bilstein suspension components, and Lava Red tow hooks, making it an ideal platform for outdoor and off-road enthusiasts.
