It builds on the success of models such as the Xpander, a crossover MPV celebrated globally, and the Xforce compact SUV, introduced in 2023. Refined, Authentic SUV Design
The 2024 Mitsubishi DST Concept embodies the design theme of "Gravitas & Dynamism," combining a spacious interior with a sturdy, wide-stance exterior for a strong visual presence. The SUV’s cabin is designed to offer ample room, even for third-row passengers. With blacked-out pillars and wraparound windows, the concept emphasizes a seamless and spacious environment, complemented by a robust rear design.
Dynamism is conveyed through large-diameter tires, high ground clearance, and sculpted fender flares, enhancing the vehicle’s maneuverability and off-road capability. Protective side elements and large front and rear skid plates emphasize durability, while the Dynamic Shield design integrates performance and protection into the front grille. The grille combines a three-dimensional honeycomb design with bumpers for a premium and distinctive look. LED T-shaped daytime running lights and rear tail lights contribute to its wide stance, while horizontal C-pillar bars create a robust body profile.
Spacious, Classy Interior for Comfortable Rides
The DST Concept’s interior provides a spacious, premium experience for passengers. Soft-touch materials cover the instrument panel, seamlessly connecting with the door trims for a unified design that enhances openness. A panoramic sunroof allows natural light, creating a bright, comfortable atmosphere.
The driver’s interface includes a large display with a fully integrated LCD for the driver and center console, offering essential information through a triple-meter display to ensure safe, comfortable driving.
Adaptable Road Handling for Various Conditions
Designed to navigate diverse ASEAN road conditions, the DST Concept has five driving modes—Wet, Tarmac, Normal, Gravel, and Mud—that offer adaptable performance across different terrains and weather scenarios. With front-wheel drive and high ground clearance, this SUV ensures reliable road handling for a secure and comfortable journey across various environments.
