2024 MG Cyber GTS Concept

MG commemorated its centenary at the prestigious Goodwood Festival of Speed, blending past glories with future innovation. The event featured a unique procession led by the Duke of Richmond, driving his grandfather’s historic MG C-Type race car, which made its mark at the Brooklands Double 12 in 1931. Alongside, an assembly of iconic MG models, including the new MG Cyberster convertible and classics like the MGA Le Mans and MGC GTS Sebring, highlighted MG's storied legacy on both road and track.

This concept pays homage to the MGC GTS Sebring, known for its success at the 1968 Sebring 12-hour race, achieving MG's best factory result in the prototype class. Named 'Mable' and driven by Paddy Hopkirk and Andrew Hedges, it finished impressively despite tough competition from non-road-going prototypes.

In honor of MG’s 100th anniversary, the Cyber GTS Concept combines elements of the iconic MGC GTS Sebring with modern EV technology, envisioning a rear-wheel drive high-performance electric vehicle. This concept follows the footsteps of the Cyberster, MG's pioneering open-top EV two-seater slated for production, showcasing MG's commitment to redefining the GTS model for the EV era.
