High-performance sports cars from almost all well-known premium automobile manufacturers have been the base vehicles for many years and have been the clear majority in all refinement projects of the Bavarian luxury tuner MANSORY. And if you look at the high-performance sports car segment in isolation, these vehicles are again in large numbers Italian origin.

In recent years, however, these have primarily been vehicles from Maranello, but for the latest complete conversion from MANSORY, the choice fell on a vehicle from Modena:

The MC20 from the traditional sports car manufacturer Maserati.

“Next to Ferrari, Maserati is without a doubt one of the biggest names in automotive history,” said Kourosh Mansory, CEO and founder of MANSORY Design and Holding GmbH. “With the MC20, Maserati has brought an excellent basic vehicle onto the market that almost imposes itself on the needs and wishes of our customers and at the same time offers many conversion options, so that after our debut “MANSORY FIRST EDITION”, the corresponding spider version “CIELO “Now logically another derivative of the MC20 is being launched with the “MANSORY MCX PERGUSA” with its full carbon body,” Kourosh Mansory continues.

As with all MANSORY complete conversions, only the finest ingredients of automotive refinement are used in the Maserati MC20: A newly designed body that is almost entirely made of forged carbon; a significant increase in performance; profound chassis modifications; elegantly forged lightweight rims in black as well as various interior modifications made of the finest leather and carbon. The total number of “MANSORY MCX PERGUSA” is limited to 5 units.

BODY | DESIGN

The "MANSORY MCX PERGUSA" immediately catches the viewer's eye as an uncompromising, high-performance sports car primarily committed to maximum performance due to its design and in particular its full carbon body. That's how it should be and there is no reason to hide this in any way

Striking, massively enlarged air inlets in the carbon front apron, which ensure fresh air flow to the high-performance coolers at all times, and a new, specially developed front lip give the “MANSORY MCX PERGUSA” an impressive appearance and, in conjunction with the additional flaps, are also characterized by a significantly improved appearance Output on the front axle.

On the side, no less striking carbon wheel arches and the carbon air scoop with attached spoiler that reaches up to the windshield frame show the unmistakable signature and expertise of the MANSORY house when it comes to carbon processing.

The side cooling air inlets to the engine are also made of carbon. A new carbon bonnet also supplies the engine from above with additional cooling fresh air for the powerful V6 biturbo engine, which is installed longitudinally in front of the rear axle. An impressive, also completely new carbon rear wing and a completely newly developed carbon double diffuser with a central brake light increase the downforce on the rear axle and complete the extensive aerodynamic improvements on the “MANSORY MCX PERGUSA” to create a visually harmonious overall package. An impressive, powerful four-pipe exhaust system rounds off the rear view harmoniously and powerfully.

PERFORMANCE

On the engine side, the engineers at MANSORY have also made several adjustments and are thus ensuring a befitting increase in performance compared to the standard engine. In the end, these extensive modifications to the engine peripherals result in the 3.0l V6 biturbo mid-engine now producing 750 hp and 880 Nm on the crankshaft instead of the standard 630 hp and 730 Nm.

The new engine electronics and the in-house high-performance exhaust system are mainly responsible for the increase in performance. The increased performance data catapults the “MANSORY MCX PERGUSA” into the realm of super sports cars with a top speed of 335 km/h and the sprint from zero to 100 km/h in 2.6 seconds and leaves nothing to be desired.

RIMS | TIRES
The outstanding performance of the “MANSORY MCX PERGUSA” is – thanks to the 8-speed dual clutch transmission, the standard all-wheel drive, the newly developed MANSORY chassis components and a new central locking wheel set consisting of “FV.5C” rims with high-performance sports tires  safely managed onto the road at all times.

The one-piece and ultra-light forged rims in dimensions 9.5 x 21 and 12 x 22 are installed in combination with high-performance tires in size 255/30 ZR21 (front) and 335/25 ZR22 (rear) and at the same time offer maximum performance in terms of lateral dynamics also the best possible tracking stability at high speeds. The brake calipers can be completely customized in terms of colour and have a MANSORY logo (also in the colour of your choice).

INTERIOR

In principle, the interior of the “MANSORY MCX PERGUSA” – like the exterior colours of all complete conversions – can be freely selected and configured by the customer. In the vehicle shown here, the entire interior was decorated in orange and black.

As is also customary at MANSORY, the interior is completely designed in elegant, glove-soft leather and meets the highest demands in terms of workmanship and attention to detail. This attention to detail is reflected, among other things, in the orange seat belts, which are accentuated with black MANSORY logos. The entire footwell and the associated floor mats are also made of leather and the colour coordinates with the rest of the interior.

Wherever leather is not used (or should not be used), the interior is selectively refined with carbon. A MANSORY sports leather steering wheel and several precisely embroidered MANSORY logos elegantly round off the comprehensive refinement in the interior.
