On August 15, Lynk & Co announced the opening of pre-orders for the 2024 Lynk & Co Z10, their inaugural pure electric sedan. Customers who pre-order can benefit from exclusive offers valued over 28,000 yuan. The new model will be available in five versions, with pre-sale prices starting at 215,800 yuan. As a medium-to-large sedan sharing the platform with the Zeekr 001, some versions will utilize an 800V architecture and lithium iron phosphate battery packs. The official launch is scheduled for September 5.

Exterior Design Features

The 2024 Lynk & Co Z10 introduces a new design language with distinctive split LED daytime running lights, arranged in multi-strip small light groups. The high and low beam lights are integrated with through-type LED light arrays featuring a dot matrix pattern. The vehicle’s side profile showcases a sleek fastback design with a pronounced rear window waistline, contributing to its dynamic appearance. The dimensions of the car are 5028 mm in length, 1966 mm in width, and 1468 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3005 mm and a drag coefficient of 0.198.

Interior Technology and Comfort

Inside, the Lynk & Co Z10 features a 12.3:1 narrow, long full LCD instrument panel and a 15.4-inch floating multimedia display centrally located on the dashboard. It includes a double-spoke multifunction steering wheel and a HUD (head-up display). For comfort, the sedan's seats are upholstered in leather, with the front seats offering an adjustable range from 87 to 159 degrees. Both front and rear seats come with heating, ventilation, and massage functionalities. Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with a Harman Kardon audio system, featuring 23 speakers and a 1600W amplifier, alongside WANOS panoramic sound technology.

Powertrain and Battery Options

According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the 2024 Lynk & Co Z10 will offer three powertrain configurations: a single-motor rear-wheel drive with maximum outputs of 200kW or 310kW, and a dual-motor all-wheel drive with a front motor producing 270kW and a rear motor delivering 310kW. The sedan will come with two battery options—71kWh and 95kWh—providing ranges of 602 km, 702 km, 766 km, and 806 km, depending on the configuration. It will also feature a silicon carbide motor, dual-chamber air suspension, and a CDC shock absorption system.

Market Competition

The pure electric mid-to-large sedan market remains highly competitive. Rivals include traditional manufacturers like the BYD Han EV and new entrants such as the Xiaomi SU7. The Lynk & Co Z10, built on the same platform as the Zeekr 001, faces competition from these models, with the Xiaomi SU7 reporting sales of 13,120 units in July, and other competitors nearing 10,000 units.
