2024 Lexus RZ 450e Special Edition F SPORT Performance

TOYOTA GAZOO Racing (TGR) and Lexus are exhibiting at the three-day Tokyo Auto Salon 2024^*1 being held at Makuhari Messe (in Chiba, Japan) from January 12 to 14, 2024. The main theme of this year's TGR and Lexus exhibit is "MORIZO Garage", based on the desire of Akio Toyoda, a.k.a. Aerodynamics development was done with Yoshihide Muroya (LEXUS PATHFINDER AIR RACING). Utilizing the knowledge gained from the technical exchange with Yoshihide Muroya, 17 special aero parts have been adopted, including a carbon wing and carbon turning vane that apply aerodynamic technology used in aircraft. Higher aerodynamic performance has been achieved by increasing downforce. For the suspension, 21-inch aluminum wheels are installed, and the coil springs and shock absorbers have been specially tuned. By thoroughly driving with Masahiro Sasaki at the Toyota Technical Center Shimoyama and honing its driving performance, we have achieved uncompromising driving performance.

The exterior color is HAKUGIN, inspired by the silent silver world of light and shadow, with blue accents on the body that stands out in contrast to black. In addition to pursuing a new texture of matte white that highlights the beautiful shape with its fine grain, the addition of a blue accent color that evokes the cleanliness of a BEV gives it a sporty impression. The interior features new exclusive interior colors of black and blue, as well as Ultrasuede® ^*2 seats with blue stitching. A sporty style is expressed through the total coordination of the exterior and interior.
