2024 Kia K9

Recently, the official photo of the new Kia K9 was released. The new car mainly adjusted and upgraded the appearance details and configuration. The power system remains unchanged and is still equipped with 3.8L V6 and 3.3T V6 two engines. Kia K9 is positioned as a mid-to-large sedan, and the model released this time will only be sold in South Korea.

From the appearance, the new model has a new "pebble gray" paint and is still equipped with a large-size air intake grille. The "V"-shaped dot matrix chrome decoration inside the grille of the current model has been replaced with a short horizontal pattern. Other aspects remain consistent with the current model. The shape of the headlight group is very technological, and the lower surround is equipped with a through-type chrome trim strip.

Looking from the side of the body, the new car is equipped with newly designed dark gray multi-spoke wheels, and the rest remains the same as the current model. The window frames and lower parts of the doors are equipped with chrome trim strips. Looking at the rear of the car, the new car uses a through-type LED taillight set. Both the taillights and the rear surround have chrome decorative designs, which greatly enhances the visual width of the rear of the car.

In terms of interior, the overall design is not much different from the current model. The new car is still equipped with a full LCD instrument panel, a four-spoke multi-function steering wheel and a suspended multimedia central control display. The new model has a new USB-C interface and a front seat massage function. In addition, the air-conditioning system has a new drying mode, which can remove water vapor in the air-conditioning system and reduce the growth of mold and odor.

In terms of power, the new car is still equipped with the same 3.8L V6 naturally aspirated and 3.3T V6 engines. The 3.8L engine has a maximum power of 315 horsepower and a peak torque of 397N·m. The 3.3T engine has a maximum power of 370 horsepower and a peak torque of 510N·m. In terms of transmission system, the new car will be equipped with an 8-speed automatic transmission, with rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive models available.
