Ford Performance unveils the all-new F-150 Lightning SuperTruck, building on its record-breaking success at the 2023 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb with the SuperVan 4.2.

Designed in collaboration with Ford Design and STARD Advanced Research and Development, this electric vehicle excels in extreme conditions, featuring advanced aerodynamics capable of generating 6,000 pounds of downforce at 150 mph. Its electric motors are optimized for peak performance.

For the 102nd Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, the SuperTruck is equipped with three STARD UHP 6-Phase Motors and Ultra-High Performance Li-Polymer NMC cells, producing over 1400 horsepower. Its design includes a triple-element front wing, hood ducts, and a multi-element rear wing to maximize aerodynamic efficiency. Additional features like carbon ceramic brakes, Pirelli P-Zero tires on magnesium forged wheels, and a custom in-board suspension system enhance its performance capabilities.

Behind the wheel of the SuperTruck is Romain Dumas, a seasoned Pikes Peak veteran and record holder. His expertise makes him the ideal pilot for this special vehicle, aimed at pushing the boundaries of electric vehicle performance on this legendary course.
