2024 Fiat 500 Tributo Trepiuno

Twenty years ago, at the 2004 Geneva Motor Show, the FIAT brand amazed everyone with the spectacular presentation of the Fiat Trepiuno concept, a revolutionary idea of ​​urban mobility conceived by the Advanced Design Studio of the FIAT Style Centre. Acclaimed by the public and international critics, the small car represented a "return to the future", reinterpreting the legendary Fiat 500 of 1957 in a modern key, and at the same time anticipating shapes and volumes that, shortly thereafter, would give life to the third generation of the "five".

To celebrate the important anniversary, the Heritage team has decided to create the 500 Tributo Trepiuno, intended for collectors all over the world, which will be produced, certified and sold by the department that protects and preserves the historical heritage of the Italian Stellantis brands.

The announcement of the project, an integral part of Heritage's Reloaded by Creators program, takes place today through a clip where Roberto Giolito, then head of the Advanced Design Studio of the FIAT Group and currently Head of Stellantis Heritage (Alfa Romeo, FIAT, Lancia, Abarth), reveals the details of the new creation and retraces its genesis, which starts from the 500 of 1957, passes through the Trepiuno concept of 2004 and culminates in the 500 of 2007, one of the brand's greatest successes, also thanks to the new 100% model electric of 2020.

As part of the “Reloaded By Creators” project, the new creation by Heritage was born on the basis of the current 500 Hybrid, with the clear objective not to aseptically replicate the forms and contents of the original concept, but to create a special 500. A car which, through targeted interventions on colors and materials, can revive that magical atmosphere of 20 years ago, when the doors of the most captivating concept of the show opened to the public, inviting them to get on board the future of the brand and the entire FIAT Group. On the outside, the 500 Tributo Trepiuno is characterized by the whiteness of its white livery, inspired by the color of the 2004 concept, on which the rear lights with red insert and the logos with the writing "FIAT" on a blue background stand out. And the memory can only go to the 1999 logo, which was created to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the brand. The silhouette is completed bythe five split-spoke Sport rims with dedicated cup. In a high-impact chromatic reference, the interior of the new Heritage Limited Edition takes up the sophisticated two-tone combination of the original concept. This is demonstrated by the front seats covered in two-tone white/red-brown full-grain leather with specific saddlery. The same theme is revealed in the rear seats, where the full-grain leather upholstery is white in the seat while it is brown-red for the backrest. The embroidered “Trepiuno XX” logo stands out on all four seats, precisely to emphasize the 20th anniversary. Finally, the coverings of the internal panels, which recall the 360° band of the concept, and the dashboard, the latter with a precious band engraved with the original drawings of the Trepiuno concept, created at the time by Roberto Giolito, are brown-red in colour. Each example will be a collector's item, so much so that each car will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity issued by Heritage.
