Collaborating with Roding Mobility GmbH, a specialist in concept and prototype vehicles, ELEGEND AG is developing its own advanced technology platform for the EL1. This new platform enhances rigidity, performance, and sustainability, anchored by a state-of-the-art carbon fiber monocoque. This innovative structure not only reduces weight but also improves handling and stability, offering a pure driving experience.

Refined Design Details

The design of the EL1 has been meticulously refined, featuring newly developed recessed door handles, exterior mirrors for U.S. approval, and wide-opening doors and rear hatch. A distinctive glass roof shaped like a NACA intake adds a unique touch, while the front end showcases a deep fascia with a wide splitter and a low, compact greenhouse. The rear is highlighted by a continuous LED light strip and a prominent rear wing.

Interior Craftsmanship

The interior of the EL1 combines modern technology with high-quality materials. A sophisticated infotainment system, Bluetooth interface, navigation, and multimedia functions, along with air conditioning, a rear-view camera, and parking sensors, ensure comfort. The cockpit features firm, individual hard-shell sports seats, surrounded by premium materials, including exposed carbon components and an exclusive ELEGEND wheel set.

Powertrain and Performance

The EL1’s powertrain, developed with a focus on quality and reliability, includes two electric motors delivering up to 600 kW (816 hp) to all four wheels. The EL1 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in approximately 2.8 seconds, reaching 200 km/h in just 7.5 seconds. The powertrain is optimized for both acceleration and a top speed of 300 km/h, showcasing the car’s high-performance capabilities.

Battery and Charging

The EL1 is equipped with an 80 kWh battery, capable of rapid charging via a 200-kW DC system, while a 22-kW AC/DC onboard converter allows for fast charging at home or on the road. The battery cells are strategically positioned in a T-shape within the central tunnel and behind the first row of seats, contributing to the car's low center of gravity and enhanced handling.

Driving Modes and Suspension

The EL1 offers two driving modes, Standard and Sport, along with an adjustable performance suspension with three settings. ELEGEND also offers an optional suspension lift system. Limited Production

The 2024 Elegend EL1 will be hand-built in a limited series of 30 units, with each vehicle priced at 890,000 euros plus VAT. Following the EL1, two additional models, also limited to 30 units each, are planned, continuing the tradition of modern coachbuilding in the spirit of automotive legends.
