The all-new 2024 Citroen e-C3 is an affordable all-electric hatchback designed and built in Europe. With a 44kWh battery pack, the e-C3 provides up to 320km of range from a single charge. Read on for an overview of the e-C3's key specs and features.
Exterior Design
The fourth-generation e-C3 adopts Citroen's new bold brand design language first seen on the Citroen Oli concept. Key exterior elements include:
Distinctive new 3-level front and rear lighting clusters with vertical and horizontal blades
Large new Citroen logo on the front and rear
Technical sculpting on the hood, sides and rear bumper
Compact footprint at 4.01m long and 1.76m wide
Interior and Comfort
Citroen emphasizes comfort in the e-C3's interior "lounge" design:
- Citroen Advanced Comfort seats with extra foam padding
- 30mm more front headroom than previous C3
- Wireless phone charging and USB ports
- 310 litres of cargo space behind rear seats
The e-C3 also introduces Citroen's new Head Up Display which projects key driving info onto the windshield, removing the need for a separate instrument cluster behind the steering wheel.
Electric Powertrain and Range
The e-C3 runs on a 44kWh LFP battery pack powering an 83kW electric motor. This provides:
- Up to 320km of WLTP driving range
- 0-100km/h acceleration in 11 seconds
- Top speed of 135km/h
Using a 100kW DC fast charger, the battery can be recharged from 20% to 80% in just 26 minutes. The e-C3 is compatible with both AC and DC charging.
Pricing and Availability
The 2024 Citroen e-C3 will launch in Europe in Q2 2024, with pricing starting from €23,300. A lower-range 200km version will arrive in 2025, priced from €19,990.
