SOLLEI is a 2+2 electric convertible featuring Cadillac’s signature 55-inch pillar-to-pillar screen, unique interior, exterior lighting choreography for arrival and departure, and intuitive front and rear command consoles. The name "SOLLEI" combines "sun" and "leisure," representing Cadillac’s vision of an open-air, leisurely lifestyle.

Innovative Materials and Sustainability

The SOLLEI incorporates bio-based materials developed with MycoWorks. Fine Mycelium™, used in charging mats and door map pockets, is grown from mycelium, the renewable root structure of mushrooms, highlighting Cadillac’s commitment to sustainable automotive resources.

Sophisticated Exterior and Body Style

The SOLLEI’s exterior reflects Cadillac's bold proportions with a low, elongated body and wide stance. Features include uninterrupted surfaces, a stretched A-line, low tail design, and a mid-body line connecting the headlamp to the taillight. The exterior is finished in "Manila Cream," a color originally used on Cadillacs in 1957 and 1958, hand-painted by Cadillac craftsmen.

Artistic Interior and Craftsmanship

The interior of SOLLEI embodies Cadillac’s “art of travel” design philosophy, featuring a beverage chiller with a power glass door and crystal glasses. Craftsmanship is evident in every detail, from illuminated décor to hand-cut and hand-laid wood veneers. The interior also features unstained wood veneers with open pore finishes, and a windshield framed in milled brushed aluminum.

Personalization and Nature Connection

SOLLEI offers personalized ambient lighting with multiple zones and 126 color options, creating a customizable interior ambiance. It also includes a unique accessory for bird-watching enthusiasts, with a custom case housing 3D printed acrylic bird calls, a leather-bound journal with hand-painted bird illustrations, and a leather tool roll.

Celestial and Optimistic Design

SOLLEI celebrates travel and the celestial environment with sensory engagement and unexpected discoveries. Sun-themed features include sunburst lighting and graphics, pink iridescent Nappa leather, and Fine Mycelium™ materials in soft hues. Other features include a pink iridescent hue on the beverage chiller door, "Aurora" tint on metal finishes, and a "Daybreak" metallic roof fabric.

Continuing the Tradition of Bespoke Expression

The SOLLEI convertible represents Cadillac’s vision for modern design in an open-air format, inspired by iconic Cadillacs of the past. The concept was introduced at Cadillac House at Vanderbilt, a facility at GM’s Global Technical Center in Warren, Michigan, dedicated to providing bespoke design experiences for Cadillac CELESTIQ clients.
