Models with this suspension have a ride height 10 mm lower than standard RS models, with an additional 10 mm manual lowering option, totaling a 20 mm decrease. The higher spring rate, three-way adjustable dampers, and stiffer stabilizers improve agility, creating precise, responsive handling.

The Audi RS 4 Avant with the competition plus package accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds, 0.2 seconds faster than the standard. The Audi RS 5 Sportback achieves 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds, a 0.1-second improvement.

Enhanced Handling and Steering

The steering ratio in the competition plus package is set at 1:13.1, optimizing handling. An upgraded quattro sport differential increases agility, especially in dynamic mode, emphasizing rear-wheel handling. Additionally, updates to the transmission control unit improve shifting times, creating more pronounced differences between driving modes. Braking performance is also enhanced with Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires, tuned ABS software, and an RS ceramic brake system, achieving up to two meters shorter braking distance from 100 km/h.

RS Sports Exhaust System Plus

Developed exclusively for the competition packages, the RS Sports Exhaust System Plus features matte black tailpipes, generating an enhanced exhaust note. Reduced insulation in the engine compartment reduces vehicle weight by approximately 8 kg, contributing to a lighter build. Fine-tuning in the engine control unit delivers tighter load changes, particularly in dynamic mode.

Refined Interior and Exterior Details

Both competition packages offer refined interiors with Piano Black seat side panels and an optional Dinamica/Pearl Nappa seat upgrade, incorporating 45% recycled PET fibers. The four-ring emblem and model badges in glossy black accentuate the sporty look. For the first time, Sebring Black Crystal Effect is an exterior finish option for the RS 4 and RS 5. High-sheen Phantom Black competition wheels are available, paired with 20” Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires. Standard Matrix LED headlights with laser light enhance visibility on the Audi RS 5. The Carbon Matte Optics Package adds a premium touch with carbon matte trim on the exterior mirrors, front blade, side flaps, and other components, while an exclusive Glossy Carbon option is available for added customization.

Pricing Details

The Audi RS 4 Avant starts at €86,000, while the Audi RS 5 Coupé and RS 5 Sportback start at €87,000. The competition package is priced at €7,875, with the competition plus package at €11,875.
