Acura’s Electrification Strategy: Acura has taken a significant step in its move towards electrification with the debut of the 2024 Acura Performance EV Concept. Exterior Styling: The concept’s exterior showcases a striking Moonlit White Pearl semi-matte finish, contrasted by an expressive coupe-like silhouette and teardrop cabin. The rear design elements, including an upswept decklid, full-width taillight, and large diffuser, pay tribute to the second-generation NSX. The distinct tail design is further accentuated by the new "ACURA" font across the tailgate, specifically created for the brand’s electrified models.

Proportions and Stance: The concept's athletic and powerful stance is highlighted by its long wheelbase, short overhangs, and muscular wheel arches that house massive 23-inch wheels with 295/35R23 performance tires. The wheels feature a sculptural design with brushed machined edges and a unique spoke pattern that conveys movement even when stationary.

Brake System: At each corner, the concept is equipped with drilled high-performance brakes, including Moonlit White four-piston calipers. The striking neon green Acura scripting on each brake caliper is a nod to the Acura Electric Vision Design Study revealed at Monterey Car Week in 2023.

Concept Legacy at Monterey: The Acura Performance EV Concept is the fifth concept vehicle displayed by Acura at Monterey Car Week over the past 11 years, following the NSX Concept (2013), Precision Concept (2016), Type S Concept (2019), and Precision EV Concept (2022).

Public Debut: The Acura Performance EV Concept will be publicly showcased at The Quail, a Motorsports Gathering, on Friday, Aug. 16, with a press event set for 10:36 a.m.

Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance: Additionally, the concept will be displayed on the Concept Lawn at the prestigious Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance on Sunday, Aug. 18, highlighting Acura’s commitment to advancing its electric vehicle lineup.
