POWERFUL PERFORMANCE AND ENGAGING DRIVE

The latest enhancements to the Yaris‘ full hybrid electric powertrain elevate its performance and deliver a more thrilling and engaging driving experience. Recognizing the preferences of B-segment customers, Toyota offers two hybrid powertrain options in the New Yaris, providing increased choice without compromising on environmental performance.

The upgraded 1.5-liter hybrid powertrain, praised for its exceptional fuel efficiency and impressive electric driving range, now features a larger electric motor-generator and optimized software and hardware. As a result, the total system output has increased by 12% to 130 DIN hp/96 kW, and the maximum torque of the electrical motor has been boosted by 30% to 185 Nm. This translates into faster acceleration, making the Yaris more dynamic and responsive on the road.

With the introduction of the “Hybrid 130” powertrain alongside the established “Hybrid 115” option, customers can choose the level of performance that suits their needs. The “Hybrid 130” powertrain, denoting the increased power output, will be standard in all Yaris Premiere Edition and GR SPORT grades, with select European markets offering this option in the High grade.

The combimeter display, available in seven or 12.3 inches depending on the model grade, offers sharp definition and can be customized with four different themes: Smart, Casual, Sporty, and Tough, allowing drivers to personalize their driving experience.

The new Toyota Smart Connect multimedia system provides a more intuitive and responsive interface, featuring cloud-based navigation as standard. This system ensures drivers have up-to-date information on routes, traffic, and delays. With advanced voice recognition and the “Hey Toyota” voice agent, drivers can interact with the system using natural speech, making commands effortless and intuitive.

In line with customer demands, the new Yaris enables wireless smartphone integration through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, offering seamless connectivity. Similar to the Toyota Safety Sense systems, the multimedia system can be updated over-the-air, ensuring drivers have access to the latest features and improvements without requiring a visit to the service center.

SMART DIGITAL KEY FOR CONVENIENCE

The digital transformation of the new Yaris includes the introduction of a smart digital key, providing users with enhanced convenience. Paired with the MyT app, this feature allows up to five users to lock, unlock, and start their vehicle.
