The journey to create the Škoda Roadiaq began in autumn 2022, when 29 talented apprentices from the Škoda Vocational School embarked on a nine-month-long project. Devoting over 2,000 working hours, they meticulously crafted a multifunctional camping and mobile-office vehicle that meets the needs of digital nomads. The Roadiaq, based on the purely battery-electric Škoda Enyaq SUV, seamlessly blends practicality with the adventurous spirit of contemporary explorers. With its unique exterior and interior modifications, this vehicle is equally suited for work on-the-go, camping excursions, and outdoor activities.

Throughout the development and production process, the students received invaluable support from Škoda experts in the Production, Design, Technical Development, IT Services, and Sustainable Materials Development departments. External specialists from Cargodesign, KPS Automobile, Autointerier Šindelář, and Dual Borgstena also contributed their expertise. The collaborative effort resulted in significant adaptations to the Enyaq's body, including a new roof structure and a tailgate that allows for tent attachment. The Roadiaq boasts 21-inch Supernova alloy wheels, a striking Emerald Green and Moon White paint finish, and interior textiles made from 100% recycled materials. The furniture for camping, sleeping, and remote work was meticulously designed to maximize comfort and functionality.
