2023 GAC Motor E9

GAC Trumpchi released the official image of the latest MPV model – Trumpchi E9 . The new car will be unveiled at the Shanghai Auto Show on April 18 and pre-sale will start . It is reported that E9, as the new flagship MPV product of GAC Trumpchi, is equipped with a number of new technologies in core power technology, such as 2.0TM hybrid special engine, P1+P3 dual motor 2-speed DHT, GAC magazine battery and other core technologies. Among them, the Trumpchi E9 is equipped with its self-developed 2.0TM hybrid engine, which will be the first time that the 2.0T hybrid engine appears in the plug-in hybrid MPV market, responding to the current market concerns about the insufficient power of the 1.5T new energy MPV in high-speed road conditions .

In addition to the power highlights, the GAC 2AT parallel-axis series-parallel hybrid mode also allows E9 to have low energy consumption. From the data point of view, the fuel consumption per 100 kilometers of WLTC working condition is as low as 6.05L (NEDC 5.8L). Its WLTC working condition pure electric cruising range exceeds 100km, and its comprehensive cruising range exceeds 1000km. In addition, the GAC magazine battery provides 5 layers of safety protection.

From the design point of view, the side of the E9 uses “Z”-shaped lines to outline the sharpness and momentum of the body shape, which is more “friendly and elegant”. The lamp also highlights the technological avant-garde and new energy attributes of the shape, and the wings of the headlights are designed on both sides of the shape.

In terms of interior, E9 has Yunshan Zhushui interior, semi-aniline fabric, windless air conditioner, ceiling-mounted TV, rear window airbag and a series of top luxury cockpit technologies. As the first product upgraded from GAC Trumpchi to a technology company, E9 will take over the driving force for the next development of Trumpchi’s luxury MPV market, and it is believed that it will bring new impacts to hybrid MPVs.
