The Hyundai IONIQ 5 is the first model from Hyundai with the new, innovative “Electric Global Modular Platform” (E-GMP). The E-GMP enables unique vehicle proportions and a progressive interior. With the E-CUV, Hyundai is setting standards both in the use of environmentally friendly materials and in drive power. In addition to 800-volt technology for particularly fast charging processes (five minutes charging time for a range of 100 kilometers), the IONIQ 5 also offers the vehicle-to-load function, with which the battery power can be used inside and outside the vehicle. In addition to its innovative design and the special, flexible spatial experience, the IONIQ 5 impresses with excellent connectivity functions, exemplary driver assistance systems and an eight-year vehicle guarantee.
Two battery options, four power levels, rear-wheel and all-wheel drive are available
With the Hyundai IONIQ 5, the customer can choose between several electric drive and battery configurations. All variants offer a remarkable range and reach a top speed of 185 km / h.
The entry-level version from 41,900 euros combines a 58 kWh battery with a 125 kW / 170 PS electric motor (power consumption in kWh / 100 km: combined 16.3; CO 2 emissions in g / km combined: 0) on the rear axle. The IONIQ 5 is also equipped with the 58 kWh battery with 173 kW / 235 PS (power consumption in kWh / 100 km: combined 18.1; CO 2 emissions in g / km combined: 0) and all-wheel drive from 45,700 euros. Hyundai also offers the larger battery with 72.6 kWh storage capacity in the IONIQ 5 in two versions: The rear-wheel drive model has an output of 160 kW / 217 PS (power consumption in kWh / 100 km: combined 17.1–16.6; CO 2-Emissions in g / km combined: 0) and is available from 45,100 euros. The top model is the IONIQ 5 with all-wheel drive and 225 kW / 305 PS (power consumption in kWh / 100 km for the Hyundai IONIQ 5 225 kW: combined 18.8–17.6; CO 2 emissions in g / km combined: 0) 48,900 euros.
Extensive standard equipment
The standard equipment of all Hyundai IONIQ 5 includes full LED headlights, LED taillights, 19-inch alloy wheels, two 12.25-inch screens for the cockpit and the navigation system, the Hyundai telematics system Bluelink ® , a reversing camera, heated front seats, a sliding rear seat bench and extensive safety systems, including an adaptive cruise control system and intelligent traffic sign recognition.

Hyundai IONIQ 5 can be customized with the DYNAMIQ, TECHNIQ and UNIQ packages
In addition, the customer can customize his Hyundai IONIQ 5 with the three equipment packages DYNAMIQ, TECHNIQ and UNIQ. Highlights of the DYNAMIQ package are a parking aid at the front, a second-generation motorway assistant, a rear cross traffic warning with emergency braking function, an exit warning, battery heating system, an electrically adjustable driver’s seat and a wireless charging function for suitable smartphones. A heat pump, an electric tailgate, the LED package (including full LED projection headlights in pixel design, V-shaped LED light strip at the front, indicators with LED technology) and the parking package (including Around-View -Monitor, parking assistant with remote control) available.
In addition to the features of the DYNAMIQ package, the TECHNIQ package includes a heat pump, the components of the LED package, fabric-leather seats, a heat-insulating windscreen and a sliding center console. The customer can purchase the TECHNIQ package with optional extras such as a panoramic glass roof, a Bose sound system, an electric tailgate, 20-inch alloy wheels for versions with a 72.6 kWh battery, the parking package and the seat package (including leather seats, ambient lighting in 64 colors, exit assistant).
Almost all of the above-mentioned extras are already included in the UNIQ package. Highlights are the head-up display with augmented reality function and electrically foldable door handles. As optional extras, there are also 20-inch alloy wheels for models with the larger battery, a panoramic glass roof or a solar roof and electrically adjustable seats at the front (with relax function) and at the rear.
Customers of the Hyundai IONIQ 5 can choose from a total of nine exterior colors, including five new colors inspired by nature, as well as two options with a matt finish.

Funding opportunities reduce the purchase price by up to 9,570 euros
The Hyundai IONIQ 5 is fully eligible as part of the innovation bonus from the Federal Office of Economics and Export Control (BAFA). Together with the Hyundai manufacturer’s share, the purchase price is reduced by 9,570 euros, resulting in a starting price of 32,330 euros for customers.
