In an unprecedented move in its 73-year history, the Scorpion brand returns to Brazil in the captivating form of an SUV with, mainly, six unique characteristics linked to Abarth: Performance , Technology & Innovation in Tailor-Made cars with Provocative Steering for a Legion of Passionate, responsible for building their Legacy .

Developed in Brazil and with national production, the brand’s first product will be the Pulse Abarth, scheduled to arrive in the last quarter of the year. With it will come a series of initiatives to implement the brand in the country. The executive highlighted the first of them. “This Monday, the digital platform we created to get closer to this customer passionate about performance goes live. By signing up for it, he will begin to receive exclusive information about the brand and the Pulse Abarth over the next few months, until the model is officially launched.” Interested parties can access the platform through the link abarth.fiat.com.br

Another measure concerns the Fiat dealership network, which will have stores specializing in the sale of Abarth, with a unique visual identity and which will have salespeople specially trained for dedicated service.

The history of the brand closely linked to competitions can also be seen in Brazil, which this year will host Formula 4, equipped with Abarth engines.

A new chapter in Brazil

Abarth has already had two models sold in the country. In 2002 it was Stilo. The most powerful version of the hatch was equipped with a five-cylinder engine, 2.4 liters, 167 hp and 22.8 kgfm of torque. Its top speed was 212 km/h and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 8.4 seconds.

In 2014, it was the turn with the iconic 500 Abarth which, even faster, did 0 to 100 km/h in 6.9 seconds. The compact was equipped with the 1.4 Multiair 16 V Turbo engine with 167 hp and 23 kgfm. The design also referred to the brand’s sportiness, with 16 elements spread across the body and interior of the model, composing exclusive lines and contours.
