Chery Automobile officially stated that it will launch a new model of Chery eQ1 at the end of this year . The new car may continue the current model in terms of appearance and interior. The biggest highlight of the design is that the NEDC cruising range will exceed 400 kilometers, while the NEDC cruising range of the Chery eQ1 currently on sale is 301 kilometers. The Chery eQ1 (also known as the Little Ant) is a three-door, four-seat miniature pure electric model, which was first launched in March 2017. So far, the cumulative sales have exceeded 150,000. Based on this, the car launched a 150,000 ant fan model at the end of September 2020, with a new color scheme and upgraded configuration, but the car’s NEDC cruising range is still 301 kilometers.

As consumers’ demand for cruising range continues to increase, Chery eQ1 will launch a version with a larger battery capacity, and its NEDC cruising range will exceed 400 kilometers. In addition, the new car is expected to continue to be equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous motor with a maximum power of 30 kilowatts and a peak torque of 120 N·m.

Chery New Energy eQ1 has 4 models on sale, and the subsidized price range is between RMB 59,800 and RMB 78,800.
