2022 Cadillac XT4 MHEV

Cadillac today launched a new variant of its popular XT4 luxury SUV in China. Featuring 48V mild hybrid technology that reduces fuel consumption by 5-6% and the new Baidu Intelligent Voice Assistance System, it is priced between RMB 261,700 and RMB 354,700. As one of Cadillac’s best-selling models in China, the XT4 has generated sales of over 160,000 units, with more than 60% medium and high-end variants. The Trend, Luxury and Platinum models address the preferences of different SUV buyers.

The youthful new XT4 has sporty exterior styling with sharp vertical LED taillights. It is available in six trendy exterior colors, including two new colors – Greige and Territory.

The new XT4 is powered by a best-in-class 2.0T variable-cylinder turbocharged engine and a nine-speed transmission. The 48V mild hybrid system incorporates a 48V motor, 48V power battery, power management module and hybrid control unit. It enables highly responsive start/stop functionality, electric assistance, electric idling, regenerative braking for energy recovery, intelligent charging and more. This ensures a quieter, smoother and more economical driving experience.

The XT4 is also equipped with the Cadillac-exclusive twin-clutch all-wheel drive. The system provides intelligent active torque control and exhilarating handling through its five-link independent rear suspension. The driver can switch between a variety of driving modes, even under complex road conditions.

The new-generation Cadillac Connected User Experience in the latest edition of the XT4 allows intelligent over-the-air (OTA) cloud updates for the Baidu Intelligent Voice Assistance System, driver interface and connected vehicle applications.

The newly upgraded intelligent voice assistant offers even more functionality, including single command wake up, multi-device custom Baidu Maps voice package sharing support, and driver-passenger voice zone recognition. With wireless Apple CarPlay, Baidu CarLife cell phone mapping, 4G LTE mobile Wi-Fi hotspot functionality and many other technological offerings, the driver and passengers can be assured of a more connected, convenient and intimate human-vehicle interaction experience. Owners are entitled to 100G of free OnStar connectivity data service annually.

2022 Cadillac XT4 MHEV Front View 3/4

The new XT4 has three interior colors: Sedona, Jet Black and Light Platinum. Its perforated leather seats have French double-stitching along with heating, ventilation, memory and massage. The customized Bose^®️ Premium audio system works in tandem with active noise cancellation (ANC) and other silencing technology. The luxury experience is further enhanced with a negative ion air purification system and a wireless charging kit for cell phones.

The XT4’s ESS intelligent safety system and BFI one-piece high-strength body structure are complemented by the patented haptic Cadillac safety alert seat function and full-color head-up display. Forward Collision Alert, low-speed Automatic Braking, and Lane 

 Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert are available on selected models.
