2022 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Track Edition

A few days ago, Cadillac released the CT4-V Blackwing special edition again, continuing to expand the Collector’s Series models of the V series. The launch is the CT4-V Blackwing Track Editions to celebrate Cadillac’s success in the IMSA WeatherTech Championship. The CT4-V Blackwing Track Editions released this time come in three different styles, pictured above. They all have the same IMSA logo on the body, Mondrian decals and exclusive brake calipers. On the steering wheel and B-pillar, there are also exclusive digital labels. In other respects, the car also has a unique gear lever, door sill trim, and carbon fiber material on the front seats.

Then again, the Watkins Glen IMSA Edition features an electric blue body paint inspired by the light blue guardrails around the track. The Sebring IMSA Edition is painted in Maverick Noir Frost (Mat Black), inspired by the 12 Hours of Sebring. The Road Atlanta IMSA Edition gets a Rift Metallic finish and even red exterior mirrors and interior trim.

The price of the special version has not been announced at present. Officials say that only 99 units of each model will be produced. The production of the new car will continue from October 2022 to March 2023. In terms of power, the series will not be adjusted. The car will still be equipped with a 3.6T twin-turbocharged V6 engine with a maximum power of 472 horsepower and a peak torque of 603 Nm. The transmission system is matched with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 10-speed manual transmission. As a reference, the CT4-V Blackwing’s 0-100Km/h acceleration time is 3.8 seconds.

The 2022 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing and CT5-V Blackwing achieve an artful balance between form and function.

Descended from the brand’s racing-derived V-Series legacy, the design elements of the new V-Series Blackwing sedans support and complement their track-capable performance, while advancing the V-Series’ motorsports-inspired heritage of styling and enhanced refinement.
